  1. Silver will look good. I just finished doing it to my car. (same colour). If you still need pics, I can do them tonight. I went with silver because its the sort of colour that looks like it was meant to be there.
  2. I think if your car came standard with an airbag, then it is a defect to replace the wheel with one that doesn't have an airbag in it. It is very easy to change (on a car without an airbag, I have no experience with air bag ones), just make sure that the wheels are straight when you put it on. I didn't have to use a hammer for any of the ones I've changed. Sometimes the centre nut is hard to undo.
  3. Have you taken it off and looked if there are any of the ridges left on the inside, where the arm connects to the motor? I've had that problem on one of my old cars, when I took the arm off and looked in the hole, all the ridges were worn down, preventing the two parts from gripping. I found tightening the nut worked for a quick short term fix, but the problem just gets worse untill you go to the wrecker and get a replacement wiper arm for about 5 or 10 bucks.
  4. I'll give you $100 for it, if it hasn't been sold already.
  5. "Engine is a stock GRS 1.8L DOHC V-tech engine (headers and intake were added)" "This car is a 10 out of 10 for looks and performance" hehehe can't think of a more powerful engine.
  6. apparently he can't tell me the VIN or engine number as the car is locked in a warehouse and he doesn't have access to it.
  7. I emailed him for the VIN and engine number, this was the reply: "Hello, Thank you for your interest in my Skyline. The car is in absolutely perfect condition, no scratches, dings, dents or other imperfections. Always adult driven and garaged. Clear title. Price is 12,630 $ AUD if you buy now with shipping included. Firstly, I need to tell you that I recently moved to Greece due to work specially . Since I have no more relatives in Australia, I brought the car with me thinking that I could register it here. However, because of the big differences between the AU emissions and the Greece ones, I can't register it without spending a fortune. Here is what I suggest:we will use Global Lines Shipping (www.glob-lines-int.net) for payment and shipping which acts like an escrow service, so you pay the money in GLS account ( they hold the money until you receive the car ), I send the car over, you can inspect it, take it to a mechanic to check it out, drive it and then decide if you keep it or not. If, by any reason, you will not be satisfied with it ( even though I can assure you that it is exactly as described), you can return it at my expense for a full refund of your money, no questions asked. I think this is more than fair for the both of us. If you agree, please provide your full name and shipping address and I will get everything started immediately. Afterwards, GLS will invoice you the transaction details and payment instructions. All you will need to do is follow through with their guidelines. Thanks" Sounds dodgy to me
  8. I too want a tow bar for my skyline. I think it is perfectly reasonable to put a tow bar on a sports car if need be. I personally need one as I race mountain bikes and need to be able to somehow carry them around on the car. Considering the amount i am already shelling out for insurance, petrol, rego and car and moutain bike mods, having a second car isn't really an option. Isn't it better to be able to have a skyline with a tow bar, then not to be able to have one at all?
