hey mate, reading ur post... i dont think u understand that your ment to replace them all once you take it off. + i mean @ $2 each there pretty cheap... if i was you n taking the manifold of... replace them all.. its not worth it if another snaps, which you ask anyone that has done it, they generally do if you use your old ones =]]] also mate, nissan stock them just walkin a grab them from parts.... i wouldnt be trusting non nissan ones to fit prefectly in + the lengths may variey abit.

while u got the plugs out, do a quick check of compression =] my rb had similar symptons as what your saying mate... wasnt lumpy but had smoke and that cyc #6 was down a little.. i keep driving for a few days and noticed more whitey smoke i mean the power was still there, until the last day when i decided to take it off the road.. coz i actually had oil blow back and was running lumpy. was my ring land had broke, melted to the top of the piston lol and most of came off during last day... all due to running lean

ummm unsecure loan has nothing to do with your car your buying... its all about ur income, what you own and how long your been doing your job. secure loan, looks at what your borrowing it for. so if you've been knocked back for unsecure loan, then thats to do with you.. they dont care what you do with a personal unsecure loan... you just need the income/age/job security. go to a dealer 'importer' pay more for it and they'll get you a loan easy

OKAY FORD/HOLDEN DRIVERS The GTR doesnt carry a common door or isnt a normal family car with extra badges or a massive v8 engine and some bigger brakes!!! there a supercar, i rekon u'd pay $100K++ even when they head towards 100,000km... considering that @ 80,000km the engine has to come out n get stripped and checked so theres big bucks and least things would get fixed if need be! but yeah i really doupt they could loose as much as a mass production car, but like people said... its all to do with condition and spec, kms ect. but wat i do know is, lol is that the HSV 427 will be 60 grand with 40,000km lol and 3 years old ><

ouchies, well in my R33 GST-T i used, Semi-synthetic Oils 'cause its a waste to throw hundreds in when your dumping it out every 5thou kms' 7.5/30 winter 'cooler weather, so wont loose its velocity as bad as summer 10/40 summer 'cause oil will be hotter, so need something that will maintain itself' personally i found 7.5/30 too noisey in summer... because its so thin and is like piss water when hot... and considering its an older car/engine (km's)... if its to thin it can get past the oil ring n you burn a little, not that you should notice it.

yeah, i'd check the vacuum lines... pull them off to check, if there broken they generally break when tugging them off lol! cause i had same/simalar problem on my r33 with my sard lines had a long crack in it... could cause other problems if you leave it also check your PFC valve, fuel filters? the Pvc Valve are like $20 to replace when i did mine

spose you could just download / purchase a complete engine manual... but thats only half of it... you've just got to have the know how to rebuild it and then having the correct tools to suit / taking it to decent shops to get head and block pressure tested and correctly honed/skimmed/shaved as required to suit the build. For tools I went to Conventrys or how ever its spelt, which supply all the tools ect for standard nissan items, but then even saying that... stuff they sell didnt quiet work when i took my head of my rb25det... the socket required grinding down the make it fit in the head to get to the headbolts. but feel free to pm me, i've got a decent copy of the full engine manual etc for R33's

Totally agreeed... i've got pulled ova heaps, i normally just park up on a kerb with rh wheels on the ground n leftys on the verge to gain some clearance (coz mine was 30-40mm lowest point) =] thats how i passed most of my randon pull overs... i even got pulled ova doing high high high 1##kms maybe more but i aint going to say exact amount on here.. But yup the cops where coming the other direction to me, flicked the lights on n they spun around n came for me and i gunned it to the first left turn... and i pulled over under a street lamp. turned both the car and lights off, i got out and waited at the boot n they came up to me and just asked me questions 'where u speeding bak there?', was like yeah maybe 2-5km... 'never admit anyfing that is finable... unless they can prove it your cool... n yeah they went on n asked more things like: 'is that ur car?', 'what are u doing out at 2:00am', 'breath test also' n let me off. haha thanks But... Honesty.. yeah driving a import/ricer/ something that stands out will get that attention, so just stay cool n be prepared mate 'carry reciepts or stuff even for window tint'.. its saved me a few times.
