hey mate well i have a long standing business relationship with auto barn at green valley, they have put every stereo in all of my cars for me, my commodore, my R34 and in my R33... the commoore purely for bass applications and competitions so it wasnt a pretty system but pumped hard..... my R34's system was a nice clean neat system and it pumped out 137.0 dB at sydney autosalon in mid 07 (not final battle) and thus far my R33's stereo has proven to be quite strong and if i say so myself quite a neat and sexy install while also delivering the power that i wanted..... so if ur after a good setup and a good team of installers and sales people i recommend auto barn green valley their number is 98269300..... tell them daniel with the R33 recommended them to u...... attached are some pix of all 3 of my systems first the commodore then the R34 and the R33.....

it was spiking before we put the boost tee on there we put the boost tee on there to try and control it to keep the boost down and yeah still running stock bov i got the boost tee for nothing off a mate so yeah i dont know man... like i said it was doin it before i put the controller on there so i have no fkn idea lol

everything in my engine bay is stock as a rock as well save for the fmic..... im running stock boost with a turbosmart boost tee boost controller wound all the way down so it should be running stock boost regardless.... normally before it spkies its running on 7 psi boost and it happens during both when the gear is engaged and also during gear change depending on the cirsumstances its f**kin weird

hey guys getting mad boost spike in my 95 r33 gtst its automatic and when i give it a hit off the line or when it kicks back a gear the boost goes absolutely crazy and spikes up to 12 - 15 psi and the car just revs off its tits and goes nowhere and spits a SHITLOAD of black smoke........ can anybody help me with this problem??? or has anyone experienced this kind of thing before??? cuz i dont wanna fry anything..... any help would be much appreciated thanx

if u wanted to go for the size and sound of a 12 inch sub with the space saving capabilities of a 10inch sub why not just get ur hands on some slimline earthquake 12 inch subs i believe the model number is SWS-12 they are a 600watts they are 3inch deep for mounting purposes and have over 2inches of long throw excursion rubber surround...... and they still give good bass becuz they are a quality sub... cant go past earthquake.... my next subs are gunna earthquake sub zeros like dr doof has or im gunna go the hole hog and get the earthquake HoLeeS 15 inch sub.. the things r crazy....... 15000 watts max power lol....... if u would like to check out the earthquake sws range any further goto www.earthquakesound.com it is an american site and the prices are in american dollars but im sure if u head down to ur local auto barn or car audio supplier they will be able to give u a rough price on them.... if i come across a pair for the right price i will be posting them up in here for sale will keep every one posted

hey drdoof how big is the box ur trying to put those SUB ZEROS into???? trust me u will wanna get a custom box made up for them becuz if the box is too small and u push too much power throught them they will fry.... trust me it happened to me when i got my old system installed the subs i got were too powerful for the pissy boxes they put them in

hey bro i had this setup in my R34 b4 i sold it and it had major dimming issues when i pumped it...... i had a 1500watt monoblock amp with 2 gauge wires running the two 1000 watt max (500 watts rms) clarion PXW1252/1 12 in subs and a 3 farad aerpro capacitor and it really was a bandaid fix the cap didnt do anything except f**k my battery up becuz when the charge drained from the capacitor the battery was trying too hard to charge itself and keep the car running so what u need to do is go get ur hands on a big CC long amp hours dry cell battery.... preferably an optima yellow top or a big odyssey dry cell they r expensive but they r well worth the money the keep the car running perfectly and u can leave the stereo running with the car being turned on without it goin dead..... and the dimmin issue goes straight out the window once u put in a big dry cell cuz it has more cca and longer amp hourage therefore more power then the stereo is draining..... what setup do u have in ur boot??

im having the same problem with my turbosmart BOV but i have set it up so its set to recirc and its still stalling i have no idea whats goin on with it and im looking at being in the same boat as blitz becuz im gunna have to put the stocker back on or get an aftermarket ecu and tune (better start saving lol)
