  1. Did someone say crack? -D
  2. EPA law says up to $10k fine - probably not enforced rigorously due to the excessive nature of the fine. Or it could come down to whether the dude at regency got laid the night before or not.. -D
  3. Standard phones can be used, however they need to be plugged into a terminal adaptor that converts voip to standard analog signal - these are falling out of favour as most voip phones are integrated units so it means one less wall wart/box cluttering up the place. Also, a lot of the voip phones use wireless to communicate where the standard phones still need to run on rj11/rj45 cable to the terminal adaptor. -D
  4. Its not a matter of modification, its the default on some pumps - Below is stolen from http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/227714-rb26-crank-in-rb25/ An early R32GTR "stock" oil pump? The N1 pump has the wide drive flange, the early R32GTR oil pump doesn't, they have the narrow drive flange. The N1 oil pump also has a different rotor configuration and the higher oil pressure relief valve. A late R32GTR "stock" oil pump? They both have the wide drive flange, but the N1 oil pump also has a different rotor configuration and the higher pressure relief valve An R33GTR "stock" oil pump? They both have the wide drive flange, but the N1 oil pump also has a different rotor configuration and the higher pressure relief valve An R33GTR V SPec "stock" oil pump? They both have the wide drive flange and the same rotor configuration, but the N1 oil pump has the higher pressure relief valve An R34GTR "stock" oil pump? They both have the wide drive flange, the same rotor configuration and the higher pressure relief valve Hope that helps -D
  5. If you're not going for power, a standard OEM pump would be better than the standard N1 due to the N1s having weak gears - however if you get the remax/reinik/nitto gears to replace it (as suggested above) then you'll be fine - they are extremely strong gears. One thing that is worth checking is where the crank meets the oil pump - if you have an early r32 you'll want to buy a crank collar to prevent drive failure as the early cranks have that area machined too small (its cheap and worth doing if you already have the oil pump off). Personally, I'd go the route suggested above, get the N1 housing (higher pressure relief valve to OEM) and put the stronger aftermarket gears in it. It all comes down to how much you're prepared to spend. -D
  6. Jenkies is a landscaper, he might be able to do it for ya -D
  7. Dzignfx do that sorta stuff, though its not cheap -D
  8. The 33 with the impact damage? God that looks like it was a massive hit... -D
  9. I have to second this - the Optima batteries in particular are awesome. I've had the same one for 4 years and it still doesnt miss a beat - even after multiple discharges to zero volts -D
  10. Does anyone have a splitfire coilpack (just the one) they can part with? SF-DIS-001 Cheers -D
  11. As Whitney Houston once said, "Hell to the no" -D
  12. Marshall Powder Coaters in Wingfield did my covers... cheap as too -D
  13. QFM A1RM pads and some kind of motul brake fluid? The A1RM's I have on my GTR and they are insanely good -D
  14. I work up in that area. Mersey road/veich road/victoria road all have rubber all over the place. ASC folks leave in the arvo and spend it doing amateur drift around the roundabouts in clapped out commodores and statesmans. Matter of fact there was a crash last friday with 2 commodores on veich road as they were leaving, one was a write off. Always seeing bogans doing stupid shit up there. Idiots dont realize that its all being captured on camera... -D Edit - the memorial isnt actually for a car fatality - a woman was murdered in the mangroves a couple of months ago
  15. Kinda suss location tho - where people are known for letting off some steam away from the general public (commendable..) It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if it were true - and if its true, why not report it? Its the cases where they blatantly make shit up that really gets my goat... Still, assuming the report is true, its a shame there was a death over something as trivial as a burnout.... people may say 'fatalities can happen in controlled conditions too' - but this just reinforces the fact that in spite of putting safety first, people still die. Put safety last, the odds of injury are greatly increased.... -D
  16. even with munted afm's, you should still be able to idle from the factory presets during limp mode, unless you've changed your injectors in which case it'll probably be running rich even in limp mode (it assumes 444cc injectors to nissan spec in limp mode and makes assumptions based upon the stock components). One way you can test an afm is to put it in the freezer for a cpl hours, or pour cold water on it while the unit is attached to the crank. As CAS's get older the housing expands due to heat and eventually the components inside the case dont come close enough to each other every cycle, so it doesnt register. If you ever suspect its a CAS error, pour water on the cas and wait a few minutes for it to cool down. If it cranks only after adding water (voila) then you can assume its the CAS -D *edit 444cc being the example for rb26, i dont know offhand what 20/25's are
  17. I got my last one from Koji @ JIS in Windsor Gardens, cant remember specifically how much it cost but it was under $100... -D
  18. It depends on the chemical makeup of the plastic in particular. Petroleum breaks down certain plastics, some instantly, some over time. Ie its very easy to make napalm for that very reason If it breaks down it seeps into the fuel itself and gets combusted in your engine. Not pretty. Always good to be safe and check like what you're doing. Theres never any harm in asking imho. -D
  19. My bro is really into reptiles. Hes got 7 snakes at the moment, a bunch of scorpions, blue tongue lizards, stumpy tailed lizards, water dragons and bearded dragons... think he currently has a stimpsons python, a woma python, a black headed python, childrens python and a couple I dont know the names of (one which is bright green but isnt a green tree python). This place is like a zoo sometimes. -D
  20. Couldnt agree more. If anyones ever watched the show COPS you'll know that trying to leg it basically confirms a suspicion of guilt. After all, if you've nothing to hide, why run? -D
  21. Ahah! I actually guffawed at that one.... reality tv is about to happen.... -D
