Hey all, im not saying nitrous may be better then a turbo, trust me if circumstances permitted i would have a turbo in 5 seconds flat. Merely expressing my oppinion nitrous being a good value for money alternative. Yes it is illegal in most instances but so are alot of mods that people do to there cars. It really depends what you want out of it i suppose. But to be quite honest i love it, its great fun for the occasional squirt and for when your not in the mood for driving fast the bottle isnt in ur car and u have the fuel economy of an NA car. Dunno just my thoughts.

man if u can get a det half cut for that much ill buy it off you tomorrow for 200bucks more so u make a profit, most of the 1/2 cuts go for like 3g's plus, and if u know someone u might be able to get it down to 2500 or a little under gas it the cheaper and faster way to go. Whack on some extractors on for 200bucks and ill pm u about my airbox mod and u have the same car as mine beating stock turbos.

youve done the 34, i reckon you should do the same conversion to a 33 now so to get u started ill sell you one NA 33 for the low low price of one R34 NA with a Turbo conversion

the engines are not really the same, different internals and the rest, cheaper to do the whole conversion. Sorry but whats this? you couldnt get a big enough shot of gas into a stocko engine for noticable performance gains?? even a 55hp shot which is very safe on a stock engine will give you a big kick in the arse and see your skyline down the quarter in probably a low 15 to high 14, if you can drive the thing. tell me thats not a gain.

not a big job at all, 4 bolts hold it to the dif, theres a support inbetween the gearbox and diff that needs to be removed another 2? bolts from memory and it just pulls out of the gear box and reverse it to put it back in. Use axle stands not just a jack though incase the car decides to agree with gravity.

225 top speed with stock dif, 240 with turbo dif, 5.4 0-100 with gas, something miserable 0-100 without. 15.8 second quarter without gas, with extractors s-afc ii panel filter with cold air. and look below for my quarter time with gas.

Gilmour Deveopments at Acacia Ridge do all mandrel bent piping in stainless mild steel and even alluminum if u want the light weight advantage but its negligible. Quality work!

In Simple English YES!!!!! Ive driven heaps of supras at work, there big, by no means slow but very old school in side dont really handle tight stuff as well as skylines, there more for straight line speed and highway drag racing nowhere near as fun as a skyline for scooting round town or a mountain run.

That fully kitted drift car, the orange one in the photos is actually an ex D1 car imported from japan, i think the car has changed just a few hands though so its getting pretty tired, aresspeed actually own it. There fixing it all up and selling it if neone is interested. Cheers John

Dont worry bout the towing factor, out ski weighs like 340kgs and my NA VL towed it, but theres no way id try behind the 33 simply cause im not putting a towbar on it.

Umm yeah no the nitrous doesnt lean it out at all, infact the car runs really rich with it, like the AF guage goes spastic and lights up every green bar it has. My boss says my injectors should cope with the rb30 block and huge headwork to the twincam head but i spose only time will tell.

yes but 7psi boost is a big difference to ne perfomance mods that could be done whilst still keeping an engine NA. Maybe i worded it poorly but i said nething that can be done to the engine while still keeping it NA the injectors and pump would probabl;y handle it within reason. For eg, my pump is giving me ample fuel for an extra 75hp and is quite happy to do that but it would be a hell of alot of work to get an extra 75hp out of an NA engine without nitrous or turbo. Dunno if im making sense its too early in the morning but i think thats what i mean.
