Is the Zed's final drive 3.69 is it??? So what RPM difference would I acquire with 6th gear and the Zed box compared to 5th in my GTT box?

Ok... I wonder what the sixth gear ratio from the 350Z is in comparison to the fifth gear from the GTT... If it is no taller then it kinda compromises my goal of a 'cruise' gear... I mean even a gain of a coouple of hundred rpm would suffice... Where can I find some stats on the gear ratios from both the 350Z and the GTT??

Wow... That is pretty cool... Speaking of, I just got an E-Mail from OS Giken, their 6 speed road/race box is 17 grand..... So I'm still thinking, if I do it, I'll have to make it an 'in house' job so to speak.... Souce the parts and do some decent homework... Is it true that Stageas have a slightly taller diff ration as well???

I remember posting this question on here some time ago... I'm not enlightened as to the specifications of other trannys... So what final drives/diff ratios would be longer than that from an R34 GTT???

@abo. Thanks mate, that was the sorta post I was hoping for... I hope that between cutting off the transfer case and fitting the box into the car, it won't over do my budget... On another note though, would the six speed out of a 350Z fit????

Well it might be worth using up that one day licence there and then, if I like it I'll get a year one... I was under the impression that a CAMS licence required some sort of 'demonstration of competancy'... I guess I was wrong.... I don't think I'll get the yearly, I've got to get a knee op soonish, then I'll be out of my car for six weeks... After that I dunno... However I really, really want to see what the GTT has got, even though it is next to bone stock, at least I can give it some in a safe and legal environment....

So on that note... What wings out there actually produce a 'realistic' form of downforce???

Ok.. Honestly: 1/3 of me wants a six speed box to be different. 1/3 of me just wants a six speed so, as you said, "I have a six speed box" blah blah blah... Still, I'm not the bragging type, so this for me is a rather "niether here nor there" affair... 1/3 of me actually needs it, I do bucketloads of country driving, now, I refuse to sell my R34, I love it to bits. I cannot afford a GTR and on that note, a GTR isn't really practical for my uses... sitting of 3000 RPM on the speed limit between my place in Perth and my farm (360km) eat the juice like mad.. Now I realise Skylines will never be frugal fuel misers, but it would make sense that I would be using less fuel if I was doing a few hundred RPM less... A 'cruise' gear so-to speak.... I guess it is partially a desire to be different and a dash of necessity, no point me lying about it.... Can you get a 6-speed gear-set for the GTT box? As opposed to resorting to a full blown gearbox transplant???

Well if I said I've got 6k at my disposal... How far down the trail am I??? *hides* btw, if the Getrax isn't a tough box, then what realistic and 'streetable' alternatives are there???

Whoa dude, that is a bit wierd.... Any pics of the game whilst your using autosculpt??? So what your saying is you can't see the physical adjustments in real time, it is a 'before' and 'after' affair??
