  1. ok guys i couldnt figure out which one was better,thermo's were up a point and then another post bought em back down and so fourth......so i changed the fan with the same type(well r33) and thermostat/bled system etc,maybe thermos down the track though,my next cooling upgrade will just be ali rad.....thanks for all the posts SHAYNO
  2. yeh would have been me,i have a yard in kwinana beach and medina,spotted you the first time at rockingham/patterson rd and thomas lights...might i add your stag looks verrry nice with black paint and white rims....
  3. yeh got it too,started as my driveshaft and cv boot but has led to cv's getting dirty and yeah......up for alot more now!!!
  4. mines done 176,000 but had belt done at 135,000, im in just as an excuse to drink and talk about cars........(stageas)
  5. thanks for all the info people,but im still not sure which way im heading,but i gotta do it soon,my wagon sounds like a an ford 250x flow with the fan on its way out......i want to go with alloy rad so i thought twin thermos in a custom if need be shroud should be alrite,the new ones are meant to be good whilst using minimal power.....let you all know how i go
  6. going to go with a ford el-au twin thermo modified to suit(shroud i mean),with a ali (drift spec) rad and maybe no thermostat at all,dont need em in ozzy conditions,.....any thoughts...
  7. thanks for replies,yeah i want to go thermo as my fan has packed up and one less thing for the engine to turn is a good thing i spose,also anythin to try and cool her down a little more,half temp running temp....(hope its not just mine) i am probably going with twin 10'' or 12'',going to have it set up to come on just under half temp and have separate switch for when i feel like it,let you know how i go yeah??
  8. it sounds like your inside brake pad,they are the ones that make the constant schreeching sound when driving,i used to work at automasters and i can tell ya they dont really check the pads well,especially the inside ones,i dont know why they make it constantly considering the problem is LESS pad but from my experience it does,hope it helps
  9. hey guyz and girls just wondering if anyone has put thermos on there stag,looked in forums but the thread had not much info,just wondering what size you used and what you plug where the original fan mounts,(use original bolts) or is it holding pulley on? thanks

    hi all,looked through forums about cv joint and got outer boot part numbers etc,but does anyone know where to go in perth for cv's and boots and roughly how much? they've gone alright....my fault for full lock flat to the floor episodes i spose thanks

  12. lets try and get as many stags as we can,we dont want a heap of skylines with like 400rwhp showin it up no offense to skyline owners..... also these skid pans are wet yes??? sorry if thats a stupid question,and do they allow us to drift around??? or just puttin and learnin......
  13. just wondering if anyone knows why after 5-6 mins of idle my car just switches off.....got me F#*#d ,and my manual boost controller..i have looked everywhere but cant find pics of where i have to attach it to,keeping in mind i have a fmic if it makes a difference,i have looked into both of these through forums but no luck,thanks

  16. hey everyone just wanted to install my boost guage/controller,just wondering where i hook the main guage line into,i heard it was the little nipple on the back of the intake plenum/pipe,but doesnt read any boost there...also the lines for the controller,does the turbo heat shiled have to come off to get to one??thanks and any info would be useful

  20. i used a r34 gtt kit and needed to cut under battery,trim the bar where the piping joined cooler,also my fan had to lose a little bin of it fin,
  21. hey,i have had my stag for over a year now and got the fmic,and custom exhaust done a little while ago,i have had a really good run (touch wood) with the car minus the starter motor going which was replaced with a vl commodore starter,and i still have the clunks(suspecting bushes)but my cv joints are going as the boots are torn,does anyone know where to get them,or a part number,thanks,and please let me know what you think of my ride
