hey all my car pretty stock, just boost controller, turbo back exhaust and fmic, plus tien's running 'triangle' tires i took it down to the drags tonight and ran a 11.86 on '10' psi (boost controller not that flash so it spikes to 13 psi b4 coming back down) now i thought for how stock my car is 11.8 was pretty damm good now the strange this is i only got 1.9 60' isnt that really slow??

we flew past a cop and then the light went red and i though 'f**k that im not waiting at the lights for him to turn round so i ran the red, unfortunately the car waiting to turn at those lights was a cop car... all in all the cop was a bloody good sport, just did me for the red, not speeding and he could have quite easily stickered me, so im not that pissed

handbrake light is the brake fluid is low, cold in the morning means fluid shrinks compared to afternoon it expands ect ect, i had the same thing with my hi-cas light

HAHA, no im not stealing it. i work in the aviation industry, thats all and i know a bit bout the fuel, it burns slower than 98 therefore increasing its detenation charateristics, and in turn it burns hotter, and killed my poor litle civic engine's valves it doesnt make the exhaust go red but when running really rich i have seen it going 'sort of white' but mostly black its got alot of lead in it, say the old leaded fuel for cars was like 0.05g of lead or something, avgas is about 6g (my numbers my be a little wrong) thats why they are trying to get rid of it just like in cars it has a lower reid pressure, cant be bothered explaining, plus it doesnt matter if your running it in a car.

the avgas i'd use is 100/130 100 octane rating when lean, 130 when rich, or so they teach us at tafe...

yeah i realise that, its more for not having to spend as much money on fuel,

i wouldnt re tune for it, prob use bout 1/2 1/2 mix,

i know there is a few topics on it already but they are old and i was wondering if anyone has been running straight avgas without killing the engine, i use to run my old civic on it, but it burn out all the exhaust valves, but doesnt the rb26 have sodium filled exhaust vales or something?? not too worried bout the o2 sensors as they're prob already dead not doing it for performance gains, just coz i get get hold of a bit here and there

lol no one answered my q!! when racing on track or sprint like targa west, are you aloud to have a different engine??

sorry to bring up old thred, but i was just wondering on the track in competative racing would most groups have rules against having different engines or dont they care??

sounds like coil packs, they must be stuffed tho to do that?? dunno if bouncing it off the limiter could kill them like that? swap them with a mates and see if that fixes them

you want to have it b4 it goes through the radiator, because if you measure it after it comes out of the radiator it doesnt really give you a true indication of what temp the engine is running at.

yeah 800 to high flow my turbo's, dunno uf they from china, the parts prob are yeah
