Here's my experience - if a cop wants to GET YOU, then they will... there's like 15 things they can do you for and give you a canary, a fine for etc... e.g. a mate of mine got defected for have a toy super-glued to his dash (cop said it was blocking his vision and if a crash occured could be potentially dangerous etc) - bang... a fine... But in general, if a cop follows you, tries to intimedate you - just drive normally, to the legal speed limit, drive safely and responsibly and they will not hassle you at all.

Sounds like a plan bro - I tried organising something like this a couple of weeks back but I got defected and heavily fined so couldn't go on with it, but this has always been my intention. I'm in for now mate. however, it would IMO be a good cruise if it's a Skyline only cruise ...

Fellas - an update!!! Police are cracking it hard in the Richmond area... they were chasing my car down 2 streets but suddenly saw another sports car - WRX with a very very loud exhaust and thought they'll defect him instead... I moved on of course but looked back and saw the poor guy being questioned for things in his engine bay... defect on the way, I think... damn, not going there no more.
-
Oh, that's great to hear mate!! Some times it takes a little bit more to make it on the right path... but hey, as long as you get there mate... well done mate. Regards,
-
Are you referring to the blue one?? When I first saw it, I asked him is that a GT-R - he replied yeah, of course it's our pride and joy! I looked at the brakes - says brembo - but they don't look like real brembos as the logo is not stamped on but painted on and they're way too small to brembos - then I looked the guards - not flared out like real GT-R's - I asked to look at the "awesome rb26" twin turbo engine - he said I can't due to "secret modifications" - man, don't know what to say... kinda lost my respect right there! Man, know that I know he's not an authentic - authorised rep of NISMO International - I guess I won't be going there any more. Guys, I need to get my car serviced soon - was wondering where do you guys get your cars serviced? Regards,
-
My experiences with the Tint Professor are quite good - had both my cars tinted there and they've always done a great job. They do arrive hours later as promised to pick up your car, but I guess this can be excused - fact: The Tint Professor's Tinting materials is very good... best I've seen and their service is equally impressive! Must be a one-off! Regards,

Yeah, that's right.... hi hi hii but then again, everything is bloody defect nowadays!

Someone Plan A Trip Across Australia....hurry Up.

Nah, that will cost extra and it's not recommended! LOL -
Make sure that the purple is a nice and dark colour - this will make it look tough - go a little lighter and it will look ghey as! Throw in some black sparkles or something and it will look sick!
-
Good to hear bro - glad you're finally getting your life back on track! Just remember this as a valuable lesson and do not do the wrong thing again! As long as you learn from your mistake and move on gracefully, there's no need to dwell on the past and beat yourself up all the time... move on, but do not forget the leassons learnt - this is the key!! Good luck mate.

Well, yes yes, poor innocent rocked down there a few times and got 2 canaries, 4 speeding fines and couple of fines ... LOL It's now officially A NO NISSY ZONE. NISSY = my car's name. LOL
-
+1 - enough said - damn, luckily I got a haltec aftermarket ECU or I'll be embarrased driving my grannie's tune around! LOL
-
I checked the way they installed my frontmount and was very pissed to find out that they had cut (or shortenned) my radiator fan... they done it in a shonky way too hence it's kinda make some weird noises... But look, to be fair, they are slightly dearer than most places but they do ok... they know what they're talking about. Yeah, now that you've mentioned it - it's NISM@ hih ihi .... but you know what - on the yellow pages it's NISMO and when they answer it's NISMO - the owner apparently said that they are the only authorised Nismo representatives in all of Australia - is this true you reckon? I mean, if the owner looked me in the eye and lied to me - doesn't matter how good he is, I'm not coming back! On the other hand, if he's fair dinkum than I will be a loyal customer for a while to come.
-
Actually, second looks - yeah you are right!! +1 The Nismo 400R series has air vents on the side (which I think makes it look less tough). Thanks for the correction.
-
It's a GT-R front bar with the lower lip slightly modified to stick out a bit more and has a curve on the sides - I think it's some new one called a GT-R front D2 or something like that... Go here and look it up: http://www.carmate.com/ I personally don't like the lower slip - the GT-R matt-black lip looks tough as nothing can beat it... but up to personal choice of course!
-
I have seen a few around - but with Skylines, because their doors are quite small - it doesn't look too good, but up to you ... you'll have to get someone that specialises in this type of thing to get it done right... good luck!

Unicron will be a bloody hard one to attempt... the dude might get injuried transforming into a planet! LOL

Mx Lancer Cutting Out Please Help
Spunky Munky replied to r33madd's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I noticed common Lancers have similiar problems as what you've described - as indicated, definitely check the coil packs, pluggies and engine for any disconnected hoses/piping... besides that, better bring it to a mechanic and they'll tell you what's wrong right away. Sorry to hear this bro... good luck. Let us know how you go. -
"scret" Gold Gtr Owner Murdered!
Spunky Munky replied to JUN R33's topic in General Automotive Discussion
This is so sad - R.I.P. May God bless his soul and that of his loved ones. Was he a SAU member - if he was, perhaps we can organise something in his memory? -
Wouldn't surpise me - if you've been following the news, heaps of motorists of recent have lost or had their licenses suspended - therefore it's just an administration delay - they will get on him... however, until a letter is official sent and a due date is noted, your might can drive legally as technically-speaking - he has not yet lost his license....

Spunky Munky replied to R33GTS25's topic in General Automotive Discussion
With regular stops and maintenance of our cars, I think what the dude is saying might be possible... come on, what does GT - Gran Tourismo mean - grand touring cars - our cars (technically speaking) were built for long cross-country trips. -
Oopps - my bad, sorry! Try www.xxxbodykits.com.au ask for Omar tell him Kevin with the Black R33 Skyline referred you - I believe they have some, he'll look after you... they're based in MELB so if you're interstate, I'm sure they'll happily courier it to your expense. Regards,
-
I was going to suggest you go to an open space car park or empty sports complex with ample parking space to learn - but, I would suggest that you get your L's first as the consequences will be severe if something happens... definitely go for your L's first bro then consider learning on the roads... I admire your eagerness and that's good, but you should do it legally.

Mx Lancer Cutting Out Please Help
Spunky Munky replied to r33madd's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Bro, firstly you're posting a lancer thread on a Skyline forum so please don't be too surpised of the input you're getting... But look, check the spark plugs, coil packs, check engine bay for any loose hoses.... Good luck.' -
Oh, why this? Just wanted to get some feedback on this place - many people post similiar threads? I don't get it - are these people not good to deal with or something?
