whats the coke can thing? you actully going to mount a coke can in place of your bov? and secondly about hdi lights. auto leveling system my arse. i live out near hunter valley vineyards and i can ashure u the auto levling system dosen't work on any car on the goat track roads we have around here. many a time i have been travling home with a high class european car following me and i think it's a cop, cos it looks like blue and red high beams flashing me in the rearview mirror. no one around here is going to be smart enough to tell the diffrence between mine and a bmw. just tell the cops i thought they where converted in complicing if they askor tell em they have auto levelling. and if your comming to a defect station or rbt put your dvd screen away.(nobrainer)

well i got my brackets made and mounted the cooler in now nice and sturdy.

it's hard to say. i ginned around a bit yesturday modifing and strenghting my front bar reo, and deciding where to put it so it fits best and what to cut out etc. that alone took a hole day. i am going out now to bolt the front mount in and make up supports at the bottom. if you allready have pipping or just need to mod them a bit thats brobly only another half day. but if you want to make custom pipping thats say atleast 2 more days. but if you buy a pipping kit probly another day to pipe it all up.

thought id post up some pics of my new cooler and my bar reo that i modified today. surprising i only added 800 grams to the reo. it is going to fit the 260rs bar very nicely

fair call. but i make tow bars and traillers at work (for trucks mostly) and know how the system works. it is not so much about the tow bar it's self but where and how you mount it. as long that you are sensible and have common engenering sense no one will ever pick the diffrence. p.s if your not confident don't attempt this and breaking the law is bad.

who cares... 1 if your a qualified welder and/or are a shit hot welder make your own. 2 find a car that has your rated tow bar you want at the wrekers 3 steel the adr plate. 4 weld it onto yours that sipmle as long as it has that plate the inshurance companys won't check the rest just make shure you do it right and strong and looking like a haymenn rice tow bar and your good as gold who cares...

gotta love the good old reliable feelameter. but i have no doubt that it actully feels better. we put whiteline swaybars in a familiar gtr (only avalible from whiteline) and yes his car did handle better after and it started picking up wheels going in his drive.

buy a power-fc they do all that and controlls it all too

is there any diffrence between the power-fc boost controller and the avc-r? do they do "exactly" the same thing? I have used a avcr and now prity much know how to use it's full extent, like bring on boost later, harder or difrent in each gear and it has boost duty cycle for each gear and at what leval etc etc. i was wondering if any body knows if the boost control unit for the p-fc does the exact same thing as the avcr? givin it uses the same wiring harness and solonoid as the avc-r.

dude i have a s2 and 15inch wheels don't fit over my front brakes,you at least need 16's . i am unshure of the s1 but s2 definatly not.

went to a bloke who knows a bit about suspention and told my friend he could help her out. she got his address from a recent hill climb day. so i went over there with a friend of mine who was looking at whiteline sway bars for her laser. from what the guy was telling us whiteline offer a wide range of sway bars for all cars. He was saying that the length from the end to the first bend play apart of how much anti roll you get. Along with: Where the bars are ancored The length The thickness of the bar How many bends are in it and how long they are (example. to go around the tailshaft or exsahust.) These all play a criticle part on how the sway bar works. He also mentioned that swaybars don't do a hell of alot work side to side. but work more on the diagonals of your car. hence applying force to the left rear from the front right and then also transfering some over to the rear right. He also said that whiteline and k-mac will both make custom sway bars to what directions you give them. this bloke had sett up alot of tarmac and dirt rally vehicles and he knew his stuff about suspension hope some of this info makes you think a little more and ask more questions before you buy the bars.

who cares really. i am sick of every one else with hdi lights driving on these rough roads up here and it looks like someone is constanly flashing you. self levvelling or not it's a load of bull and happens anyway. Iam putting them back in. Just got off the phone to my mate the auto electrician said he is the only person in newcastle installing the hdi phillps replacement lights for "normal cars" (they replace hallongon's) and would be glad to hook my new lights back in. he dosn't see a problem with them they just white'n the road more not actuly emit a more powerfull blinding light.

Well i foned just car today for an inshurance qoute full comprehensive this time not just 3rd party fire and theft (which i still have currently with JC). there reply was ok check your details yep 2 claims and 2 suspentions iin the last 3 years. with all your mods front mount, computer, exsahust, arlarm, stereo, and body kit. we will inshure your stereo for what it is worth but in the event of theft or accident we will pay half of it's value. we won't inshure your rims and tyres. ypour total yearly premium is $3200 your excess is $3000 if your at fault extra $400 if your stereo is missing or broken. and if it is not your fault it will cost you $1000 excess. oh and wait i will find out the value of your car. taking into account recent repairs from an accedent yep it's worth $16000. my reply to them What the F*#K is going on there my car is a serries 2 manual and what wll happen in the event of anccedent, i mean i just repaired it and it cost me 16 so your telling me if i have a simillar accedent what then. We will write your car off sir. what the hell would i do with a wroten off car, or no it goes to auction and you get your (measly) $16000. well i can't regester a written off car can i. i think i will just keep paying my $600 per year and stay where i am it will be cheaper. I mean what a joke inshurance is they can go jam it fair up there F...... A.... aren't they ment to inshure what you want to pay for nad what happened to agreed value what a wrought .

Well you's all wanted a pic as sonn as it was back togeter. well it is on it's way. the body repairs are nelly finished only some final touches to go. i went and seen the pannel beater today and i was pretty impressed. just got to get it home and finish her off now.

yeah i will give shannons a go next week as i am sick of trying to get mine insured through gio. Won't insure serries 2, won't insure factory manual. I even tried telling them i did a manual convestion, that worked but they won't insure the s2 front end. Won't insure a RS Four "S" gio just keep giving me the run around and passing me on then sorry your motor vehicle isn't on our list. (f@#$ em) they shit me no end . i hate having to have inshurance but you neeed it. man i hat nescary evil they prey on your mistakes like vultures

today a bloke told me that it is the way the bowser filler tip is pointing weather it's hanig up or out. and for a while this was checking out as correct 300zx, falcon, hiace. but i just looked at my silvia and a commodore and thats false i think its just however the manafacture wants to put the blasted thing myth....... ......................
