  1. no up dated pics yet waiting on a new 260rs front bar so at the moment she;s sporting a stock white front bumber (so ashamed) really have to pull my finger out and get it done but i am buisly building my s13 for a hill climb in 11 days so stressed out no time to get every thing done.

  3. ahh you got Bryce's old rig looks good. Last i was talking to him before he sold it he mentioned that the suspension was getting a little soft. So old shocks/springs with that load will definitely sag. my suspension is shot in my stag one of my struts doesn't even have oil in it anymore and yes like you i plan on towing my race s13 around i have chosen to go the tein gt wagon coil overs they are height adjustable (can go higher than stock) damper adjustable and spring rate adjustable perfect to get the exact right ride for towing it's like they where made for it. when looking for coilovers take special notice of if the bottom if it moves up/down good. Compared to adjusting ride hight with the spring rate not good for towing to stiff might break something.
  4. thats preety close to factory off set so yeah should fit mine a 18x9 +35 and they fit shouldn't see any reason for them not to. ask the bloke can you try 1 on just like going to the shoe store hehehe

I have been going down to Sydney where he is located and been turnig my broken autec front bar into a plug that's nelly finished after that he will make a mould then we get to start making bars not shire on the cost of one yet but I will keep you posted as soon as my bar is made. Promise you it will be done by January as my car has to be finished for a weeding on the 24th of jan and painted. Cost of the bar won't include fog lights or blinkers (nor will you get these if you order from japan). Not shure of contact no. But you can pm ginarval (that is andrew the owner) other than that google c3 custom carborn components to find his web site should be the first one that comes up.

  8. all right i will in-lighten your situation. the fronts struts are the exact same as a 33 gtr and in the s2 rs4s it comes with all the gtr goodies except engine and the 260rs is the same on;y with the rb26. now in saying that the s2 rs4s/260rs are controlled by r34 gtr computer gadgets i.e The g sensor atessa computer and the stagea gets it's own personal main computer. now getting to the under side rs4s/260rs owners get: gtr bow,tail shaft, rear diff housing (diff ratio is diffrent), drive shafts, cv's, rear cradle, and the all important hubs hence we have the gtr fork type rear suspension however the wagon struts are slightly diffrent the strutt tops are smaller the strut itself is longer and the fluid viscosity is more dense as the wagon is quite a bit heaver i hope that answers your question. with the tein wgns yes they come with the single bush in the base and we need the fork type i have now 2 idears they height adjust from the bottom so you could order from fulcrum the gtr screw on base? the other idear is the one i am about to do is cut the bottom off and cut my stock folk mounts of and weld them on to the teins my question is though is y some people are totally against coilovers if you buy some good ones like tein or eibach i am shure there is other great ones you can order them wuth what ever spring rate suits you then you can adjust them to what ever setting you could ever need to suit you. not designed for Australian conditions my butt, you order them to suit.
  9. i need a s2 front bar of some discription i need it with in a week as my new 260 rs bar will not be finished i need a stock bar or somthing to go on a trip for work as my daily ute won't make an 8 hr jorney in one go. if i could perhaps borrow someones spare front bar or i will buy one i whould prefer siver but beggers can't be chosers.
  10. the harder the tyre and the worse the design the more road noise hence maxxis ones are cheap chinese rubbish, there on my missus mazda 2 and they are dangerous in the wet. my moderatly priced kumho's ok nothing to brag about. my last toyo's top stuff no noise and corner that hard it whould lift the inside wheel off the deck.(whish i could rember exactly what they where) all i know top coin $260 ea = top tyre
  11. when it the idle fluxuates like that we call it hunting (...for idle) i had a similar problem when my car was hunting it was a cracked breather hose on top of the tappet covers it was hard to find only noticed when i removed the hose. They will also hunt when a vacume line is blocked. i think it was daren on here that had the fault codes for the attessa system he might have ones for the auto to send him a msg i cecked my atessa system to if the 4wd light keeps coming on there a funny critta i chased mine for ages kept coming up with diffrent codes everytime i fixed one it came up with another.

  13. mate give andrew a call at custom carbon components he is a great bloke loves his stageas and does the best carbon and glass work i have ever seen. bryce got his front end done there (r34 front big yellow wagon) . i caannot praise how much effort andrew puts into his work i droped my stag of last night to get a new front bar and side skits made, that actually fit unlike those shit arse japanese nismo copys that are a dissgrase! www.ccubed.com.au hopefully soon he will have an r34 front end fit to BOLT on no mods required. 260rs s2 front bars. Nismo sideskirts and even a widebodykit all of the shelf.
  14. how rough do they ride in comparison to stanard gtr suspention? these are the coil overs i was looking at getting but i am a little concerned that they might be a little to stiff. i have tein hr's in my silvia and they are bone shattering stiff. even if these are sold can you reply any way? are these dampaner adjustble? thanks matt.

  16. no abs light just 4wd light but atessa and the abs sytem use the same sensors and are heavily linked together(and code 77)
  17. yes i agree thanks for the update as my problem seems exactly like yours. and having had a front accedent the abs sensors playing up make perfect sense (and what all the mechanics and auto electrician's keep guessing). is your diagnostic fault code still coming up as the pressure switch though?
  18. you have pretty much hit the nail on the head. there are more parts for the serries one than the 2. more and more parts and cars are now becoming more plentiful. most parts can be bought direct through nissan (exported from japan) there is no australian delivered skyline (other than the r31) but repco and other aftermarket parts stores have the r33 listed (they may as well been australian delived they are like dogs balls) The stagea is a cross breed between the 33 and the 34 mechanically and unique in most body parts.
  19. my serris 2 neo had those two pipes one is or the oil breather and the other is for bov. they are hard to see,it is way down near the front of the turbo and on the block side. i put in a pod filter to my airflow meter and a peice of stainless pipe to the front of the turbo. i deleted both of them lines completly and just put an oil breather filter in the tappet cover and removed my bov completly( also removed the stock j pipe though).
  20. phil did you end up fixing this problem. mine is also a manual and with the 4wd light on atessa is still working and showing up on the torque split gauge
  21. yes stinky rooster i agree DON"T CRASH IT! my car was moderatly to heavly damaged and on an import cost just goes up. i fixed mine using secondhand quality parts with very minimal dents and scatches and my repair bill went over 16 thousand and still fixing odds and ends. i did alot of the work myself. if it had been fully inshured it whould have been writtn off. the same accedent in a commodre whould be 18 fully finished buy the smash reparier. make shure that shanons will inshure every thing rims stero bodykit fmic etc etc.
  22. Locate air bleed connector. In an R34 its in a panel under the dash. In and R32/R33 its in the drivers side kickpanel. Connect and disconnect this wire to run the ATTESA pump. what is this black unit that he is holding is it the air bleed controller? what does it do? y is it there?

  24. what do you mean smaller duncan. i belive most nissan's are m12x1.25 pitch do you mean shorter? if thats the case pehaps skyline ones would be better with some after market wheels? might stop them stripping (mine stripped two on the rear right i blame shoty tyre shops and wheel spacers)
