  1. the last time i used newcastle car lovers was the last time i washed the wagon i take my own stuff and go at night so iam not rushed took me a full hour just to was and chamoi my wagon and it looked aworsome, then BANG hour later it was being trailerd home ....... enough about me. if you want to wash your wagon at home, why don't you just save your shower water, by catching the excess in a bucket or somthing similar and then wash your ride with that. or you could fit a water tank just for washing your car. you can't go around with a dirty car thats just not proper i mean it's just unheard of it's not right
  2. there is someone here selling theres for like 14
  3. it looks sweet how it is better then a dayz kit. where did your grille come from looks sensational i want one. just put taller suspensition in or somthing but keep that kit
  4. rear fog? whers that ands more importantly where is the switch?
  5. mine was doing the something similar. it stutters though a bit like a miss. mine is a manual with PFC front mount exsaust running10 pound. it just starts stuttering at aboout 3500rpm under slight load when you get on off the throttle then on again seems to go away or load it up more to clear it? i just thought it was water in the petrol at first till i went looking in the tank and changed fuel filter no water. so now i just asume it's coilpacks. they went in my silvia the same. the only other thing i can tell you to try is to gap your spark plugs down to 0.7mm try that a 33 that we did a turbo converstion was cutting off at 4500 cos it was blowing out the spark .7 and it was sweet. i havn't been able to drive my stag now for 5 months so havn't changed coilpaks yet. let us now what you come up with.
  6. did you snap all of them on one side? what was the full story did you hit a huge pothole? after market rims? do you have wheel spaces?
  7. mate un less you want to track work or rallying of some sort i whouldn't worry about the extra weight of the rb. the rb has a shit load more torque and makes an s13 with one a hell of a lot of fun. keep it simple and stay away from the neo, i have one in the stag and as good as it is, the more i learn about it itis a very complex machine.+ the parts and power upgrades for the s2 rb25 are easyer and cheaper to get. have fun with it if you find understeering to be a problem then just put bigger tyres on the front then the back. then oversteer is your friend :laughing-smiley-014: . go over to www.silvia.com.au and there is this topic posted up numerous times.
  8. is your fan still working properly sometimes they wear out or lose there fluid. a simple test is drive at 100km for long extended periods of time and see if your water temp goes down. is your pump still pumping enough flow this also could of broke down. just a few oter ideas to check out. just start eliminating one by one i like to start with the cheapest

    Tv Navi Unit

it should work by the discription it is compatable with both pal and ntsc imputs + it has auto function what ever the hell that means? i think it means it will auto detect what your monitor is using. thats just my thought. and how big is the arial my dad bought a satlite decoder and yes he needs a satlite on his roof for that to work wilst driving he needs a auto detecting satlite worth 4grand. iam not shure about yous but i don't think rabit ears in side the car is safe or practicle and if you need a telly areil out side that is hidious. thats just some food for thought make shure you look into things before purchesing or you will be just giving someonelse a bargin when you have to on sell it.
  10. i was that happy when i drove mine home how good does it feel! good luck with your new pride and joy. can't wait to get mine back and cruise around too. if you come down the coastlet evey one now and iam shure these more than just me who will cruise with you and check out your new ride.

didn't relise that that it wasn't so little weight. i pulled the stock sounddeading from my silvia weighed in at 45kg and my mates sprinter's sounddeading weighed in at 85kg. both of these are substancial ammounts.
  15. you shure about that? including the manuals? and including the rsfour s and the 260rs?

isn't there all feady enough sound deading in the door. subs do drown out the mid system but for the little extra sound improvemnt the sound deading gives compared to how much it wighes i don't think it's really worth the extra fuel for lugging it around. but if all your interested in is top quality sound be my guest it whould be well worth the effort. sorry for cramping your $8 worth just add ing on 20c

dale you keep refering to the struts in the rear door and if we add weight they will colapse. the rear struts are just a strut. you can buy them at newmerous stores like ovesco (they specialise in trade tool box's) the struts are rated in newton meteres (NM). this is normally written on the strut itself. they all so come any lenth you need they can just order them for you. so lets say a standrd one is 200NM you can work out the weight of the origonal door add what you want to the rear door then work out what rate stut you need to replace it. somewhere close is normally good enough. eg. lets say the current struts push 60kg of door then we add 20kg to the weght of the door 200 ./. 60 = 0.3 0.3 x 80 = 24 = 240nm strut required for the extra weight. so 250NM to 300 NM strut will sufice to easy and they arent expensive say $35 - $100 each.
  19. good luck with that serries 2 parts are thin on the ground. (i know i needed a front end) hit bryce up he should be finished his front end conversion by then
  20. true that i have been thinking about this sub-ject to. and i have come up with the i dear to make the entire boot a sub inclosure. (as small as possible of corse) covering the entire floor. then put perspex over the subs so you can still sit stuff on top of them. i want to be able to have the subs in and still sleep in it. due to some calculatins i think i can do it with only using 150 mm high of boot spacecover the entir lot.
  21. same same. where did you get the stag badge that is your avatar?
