  1. IMO a 30% loss through the drivetrain is to be expected when puting your car on a dyno, which your car sits pretty close to. Another thing to consider is that no two dynos will read the same, some read high and some read low. My R33 has zero power mods, and the few times I have put my car on the dyno I have got anywhere between 145 rwkW and 153 rwkW. Considering that the two dynos are around the corner from each other, I don't think a slight change in location can equate a 8kW gain
  2. I believe so
  3. Dangerous? You can't deny that it is more dangerous than 2km/h less. We need to remember that the speed limits are chosen with the lowest common denominator in mind, ie the worst foreseeable driver, in the worst foreseeable car, driving in the worst foreseeable conditions. If anyone feels uncomfortable about being caught for breaking the law, then they should avoid breaking the law
  4. On the other flip of the coin it could be called "automatic law enforcement"
  5. It was a hoax before the M7 was even opened...
  6. Soz, ripping skids at Quakers Hill until 4:30. Might rock up to Newport / Palmy on the way home though
  7. That's what I was afraid of, a skidpan you can't do skids on In that case I vote hillclimb
  8. Depends... How epic can my skids be before Sutton Rd get into a hissy fit about drifting?
  9. You're all wrong! It's a Nissan NX coupe
  10. GTFO with your crazy talk! I shall knowingly disregard all road rules and then complain when I get pulled up for it like any other road user! /sarcasm
  11. On the up side, the theif might get caught on this occasion Sucks for the owner though...
  12. Glad the daily has cruise control, should hopefully save me most of the time
  13. The only car troubles I had on that day was a lack of semi slicks
  14. With great difficulty Probably closer to the truth
  15. About 56 days and 10 hours
  16. I had a bumper + reinforcement shipped from Adelaide to Sydney a couple of years ago for around the $100 mark, $120 doesn't seem too over the top
  17. QFT
  18. This is held by Eastern Creek, anyone with an L2S licence can rock up on the day to go fast! Chances of it falling over are minimal, but if you are paranoid just give them a ring (9672 1000) I should be making an appearance around 1330
  19. QLD FTW!
  20. The system will never be perfect with the current technology. That's why they would take you to have a blood test if you come up positive In the case of me the test only gives a YES/NO for narcotics without going into weather it was a orange and poppy seed cake I may have ate for lunch, the codine in the tablet I took last night for a headache, the morphine I stole from the local hospital or the opium... and I have no idea what you do with opium
  21. How I'm I supposed to do a 0.30 around Wakie with that?
  22. You would be suprised what will flag a positive result. Random drug testing is common where I work and I have always been flagged for narcotics
  23. Strap a watch to your steering wheel and time yourself
  24. Quoted for truth I use Project Mu HC+ pads, and in my experience they don't go quiet until I give them a good pounding at a track day Just need to keep an eye on them as they don't have wear indicators
  25. Random question is random. Is there any particular rule about passengers in rear seats? Just want to know should the situation arise
