  1. My R33 GTS-t is a 5 seater with 5 seatbelts (and two 4 point harnesses, rendering the rear seats extremely uncomfortable ). I have pulled the seat out enough times to know that it isn't hard to forget to pull the middle belt up on reinstallation. GT-Rs are all 4 seaters I believe
  2. Angry is a strong word, but I wouldn't have pleasant thoughts. The only redeeming factor would be that I remind myself that what you are doing is perfectly legal albeit a little selfish Every day I drive to work on a stretch of road that is 90 km/h and clearly signposted "KEEP LEFT UNLESS OVERTAKING" (Mona Vale Rd for the locals). Yet twice a day you get some mouth breather in the right hand lane doing below 80 km/h, creating a moving road block... Yes I'm mad, I'm glad you asked
  3. Well they hit my top 3 gripes! I hope there is a special hell dedicated to people who don't keep left unless overtaking and people who drive around with high beams all the time
  4. That's just the thing, it isn't a difficult job. I did mine in my driveway with basic hand tools and a pulley puller Many people on SAU go to Unigroup with their Skylines, it's also just around the corner from you at Girraween! http://www.unigroup.com.au/Home.html
  5. While it technically doesn't change how the car handles, I believe there is a lot to be said for driver training and seat time. You will get faster lap times and have fun doing it!
  6. Coilovers are easy enough to DIY (yes it's a pain to take out the parcel shelf to install the rears, but still easy). Took me a few hours the first time, just need a jack and some spanners and sockets You should definitely get a wheel alignment afterwards though, changing the ride height of your car will change your suspension geometry
  7. You can't get camber adjustment on coilovers for Skylines. Camber adjustment comes from adjustable suspension arms and/or eccentric bushes Opinions on D2s? Never have seen them personally, but after a quick search... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/316407-d2-coilover-vs-tein-superstreet-vs-cusco/
  8. If I were in the market for new coilovers I'd get Fortune Auto. Enginnered and assembled in the US (not in SE Asia), good value for money and they feel awesome in my mate's R34 4 door! Still not as good as my Ohlins, but at more than double the price you'd want them to be better
  9. Whiteline also sell swaybar links http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_detail4.php?part_number=KLC108
  10. Actually, last year I spend the night in Albury, drove to Winton, spent the day racing around Winton and drove back to Sydney in the same day. Never again... I wanted to kill myself by Marluan Work the next day was death as well...
  11. Just get a Varex! Don't get a Varex...
  12. The longest drive I have done in my R33 in one stint was this... Google Maps Linky I half chose this route because of Royal National Park, Macquarie Park and Kings Road, but due to road closures due to flooding, landslides and a death on Kings Road I took a slight (1.5 hour) detour. Was having a great time until I hit a wombat 25kms from my destination. Will definitely do again! (less wombat lol)
  13. I've sat passenger in a mate's R34 with Fortune Auto coilovers, seemed pretty good on the street. Not quite as good as my Ohlins but at double the price I would have been spewing if it had been any different http://www.phillbenterprises.com/ebay-store/fortune-auto-authorised-dealer/
  14. Spare wheel wasn't an option? If the tyre still looks OK after this incident, I still wouldn't be putting it back on the car with the exception of maybe a skidpan day. By running your tyre to the point that it unbeads, you have subjected the sidewall to significant stress and is now much more likely to fail in comparison to the other three tyres. I don't know about you, but I drive far to enthusiastically at times to drive around on dodgy tyres
  15. I have these wheels in 17x8 +32 and 17x9 +40, heaps of room for the calipers (17x9 on the front scrubs on the suspension near full lock though)
  16. For me, JCI charged me half in comparison to last year's premium for my Riceline...
  17. Get something like Volk Challenge, best of both worlds
  18. I ask for my steak to be cooked blue for taste and texture reasons, but the added bonus is the waitress's reaction when you ask for it and/or explain what it is!

  19. Riceline's battery doesn't have enough charge to unlock doors. Riceline's doors can't be unlocked with the key. I'm going to laugh so hard if I can't find a set if jumper leads!

  20. New goal. Enter HIC45S into WTAC 2013 or 2014 in Clubsprint class. The only thing scaring me is the $850 odd entry fee lol

  21. It was the moment that 3 Penrith players started to line me up that I realised that goalies do not like being sprayed in the face

  22. Teaching myself to do backwards crossovers... feels like I'm learning how to skate all over again...

  23. Guy at Waitara Subaru - "Sorry it's taking so long to get your upper engine cleaner, we just got our first BRZ and the parts manager is taking it for a drive"I want to be a parts manager!
