  1. HKS step one cams 272 272 with some 2540's would easily make the 450rwhp but i would start looking at building the motor with that type of HP.
  2. You sound like a ball licker
  3. Even If its losing power you still revv a rb20 out till atleast 7500 so u can drop it back into its torque range again once u change gears. The tomei poncams 260 degree are sweet as on rb20. Even the 252's stop power dropiing off.
  4. My mates rb30det in his vc commodore made 487 rwhp with twin 2540's. He revs it to about 7200 max. . Ran a 11.6 quarter last week.
  5. That would have to be BOBBO the ball licker,,
  6. As far as i can tell it uses the same comp and turbine wheel as the HKS t04z. Which is pretty much a ball bearing t04r. The comp cover and exhaust housing are quite different from the HKS units but i woudnt think this would cause it to make less power , maybe a bit less response. It uses a t04r comp wheel which is meant to be very, very good and a p-trim turbine wheel .
  7. Im pretty sure u can.
  8. Not sure on the part number but go on greenline.jp or nengun.com for the nismo pump.
  9. Just for the record the N1 pump and the NISMO pump are two totally different oil pumps and about $600.00 price difference. The nismo been the better one.
  10. Mate just did the same rb26 rebuild and it was down on power for the first 1000-2000k's . After this it loosened up and got its power back and more . Put it down to fresh motors been tight and need time to loosen up so dont stress.
  11. To4Z is basically a ball bearing t04R . to4 is still plain bearing. to4z seems to be very popular in japan atm.
  12. Exactly just go with the HKS and you wont have a drama.
  13. Time to move on man .
  14. The HKS Pistons are Heavier than Arias and some others but they are very good quality and come with good rings.
  15. You can't go past the HKS or Trust Pistons. As Peter said they are really cheap now. Im using Arias in mine but i would probably use HKS now but they were already bought.
  16. for a proper rb26 rebuild including new valve guides , rods , and pistons... Start at 10k and go up and up and up and up. If you think im joking get it done and you will see.
  17. I've also seen a fitting tapped into the back of the head with a braided line then going to the radiator. This was on a modified rb26.
  18. Can use n1 rings on arias rb26 pistons but must use stock nissan second ring.
  19. Yes u can. alot of people do it. As are 100's of people in the US using AEM ecu's .
  20. I dont think its that at all. Apexi say high horspower cars at high rpm are in danger of a split second lean out by hitting a fuel cut. Which is why they have the pro version. I dont think they were thinking of nos at the time of making it as the japs arnt too keen on nos.
  21. Sourced from nissan. About 300 a set. Expensive but good insurance.
  22. i thought u sold your car jimih ?? is there alterior motives here
  23. When i used to have my r32gts it made 250rwhp with the same mods. Iv'e seen as high as 270rwhp with that setup so its not unusual . Some rb20's just make weak power and some are really good. Unlucky to have a shit one.
  24. Still deciding between wolf and power fc . Pretty sure wolf has fuel cut.
  25. Arias have 3 different types of rings they use. So yeh maybe just one of them not sure. As for the oil the penrite HPR15 is a 15W-60.
