  1. They hold open at idle and at light throttle loads. Im pretty sure gts-t bovs work in the same way as they sit half open at light throttle and idle. not 100% sure though.
  2. Thats the strainer off the factory gtr pump. I''ve set it up so its all sits in the cradle like factory. The strainer is a weird shape to get right to the bottom of the cradle so it dont starve of fuel.

  6. Ok yeh well 13.7v to 14v is bugger all difference. The alternator only charges at 13.9 volts so i got .2 volt drop from the front of the car to rear. Not too bad.
  7. 14volts through the factory wiring ?? Are u sure. The most my old r32 had was 11.3 throug hthe factory wiring and the gtr had 10.8.
  8. Ive had this problem with my old rb20 when i put a fresh motor in it. Set the base timing up to 15degrees and it made about 150rwhp. Very weak. I then moved the crank angle sensor to where it used to sit just passed the half way mark between the top right 10mm bolt and it made 220rwhp .
  9. I just did this upgrade on my r32 gtr. I used 8 guage cable , bosch relay and a 30amp fuse. Brought the voltage up from 10.8volts up to 13.7
  10. could also be retarded cam timing ? Who set it up. Just double check it.
  11. Highest hp ive seen from one 044 is 530rwhp. Im hoping i could get a bit more.

  14. Chasing the Intake pipe on a r32 gtr that goes from the inlet plenum to the chassis. Replaces the factory rubber pipe. The 2 main brands that make them are HKS or greddy.
  15. Chasing a r32gtr intake pipe to replace the factory rubber piece. Can be HKS or GReddy. Pipe goes from the inlet plenum to the chassis.
  16. Sydneykid what sort of hp do u think a a single 044 and sard 700's would be capable of ? Aiming for 550-600rwhp Im running this setup with a HKS fuel rail and HKS fuel reg.
  17. worn guides common on rb26dett , not so bad on rb25 and rb20.
  18. Even if one cylinder is dying it shoudnt stall. Could be something much simpler than that.
  19. I had to remove my blitz bov and refit the factory gtr bovs as i was having alot of problems. Surging , stalling etc etc. Factory bovs plumbed back fixed the problems.
  20. This is almost the exact same combination that i have put together. Will be interesting to see what it does on the dyno next week. I will keep you posted. Only thing that i can see is different is you have used 280 degree cams where i used 272 .
  21. yeh just a general bosch automotive relay. i think i used a 30amp one.
  22. I checked my fuel pump voltage in my gtr the other day and it was only getting 10.4 volts from the factory wiring. So i ran 8 guage wire from the battery to the boot using the sotck wiring to switch a relay now it has 13.7 volts.
  23. I think you will find he said is he needs a hand controller to tune it as he doesnt have the laptop software. I've seen him tune many with a laptop.

  25. Hey guys , looking for the greddy intake pipe that goes on big singles on gtr;s then splits into 2 for the air flow metres. heres a pic.
