  1. Thanks Kiwi. I should have thought of that lol Simple thing you don't think of when you have so much on the plate :-) Too late, we installed the box in last night. Will use an external cylinder. Thanks for helping guys.
  2. Has anyone installed one of these for a RB26 with a Holinger gearbox before? Would you happen to have a part number/measurements/specification for the Tilton Hydraulic Throw out bearing? I need to order one for the race car and hope that someone had gone down this pathway before. Thanks in advance.
  3. I should have one in the garage. Got too many spares/junks atm lol
  4. Awesome Mike. I am back from my oversea conference as well. Will get the whip out and get this car done in the next few months. Would love to have your inputs regarding the suspension Thanks mate
  5. bigmikespec, could you give more details? I am in the same boat. Will be running 18x11 and prefer to have an upright to accommodate this rather than using a spacer. Any chance of a group buy?
  6. LOL old joke mate .... as I said chinese whisper (rumour) ..... and it doesn't matter because I have been testing the engine with a pair of Greddy T618Z turbo instead of the old T67....it will do 0-2000kph in many light years. Like it or lose it is up to you. This thread was made for some nice memoirs of the old girl and it's being made to go faster (hopefully) around the bend
  7. Just a brief update I was not too impressed with the cage after the last fabrication and did not have any luck to rebook the car to redo some of the work. I looked around and found another place. I had most of the additional bars to the existing cage removed and had them redone + added a few more . Fingers crossed the car should be ready to send to the painter mid this week. I will post some more details when time permits
  8. Great work Luke. Mike, who do you recommend for metal work? I wouldn't mind fitting the 18x11 +18 into my honda s2000....just need to find a good place to stretch the metal out a bit... a fair bit actually since the OEM offset is like +60 haha
  9. Can I get the new number too Brad? I've been trying to contact you about the suspension parts for the R32.
  10. How much is the roof for part only?
  11. krayzie32, it's still in progress! I bought a set of front fenders from a sponsor on here and it did not fit properly. The carbon doors did not fit perfectly as well. The car has been at a panel shop. These are finally fitted. The side skirt is being custom fitted at the moment. Then I like to get the rear bars for the roll cage redone to strengthen and tie in the rear struts with the rest of the cage. A custom wing mount is also needed. Then it's off to the sand blaster and spray painter. The rest of the mechanical work is easy and I can pull my fingers out to help with the spanner work;) Hopefully I can start testing it early next year
  12. Does anyone know who sell those air jack? GB on those would be awesome
  13. Lucky for you I will have two sleepless nights to get the car ready and to Sydney for the race BTW can anyone please let me know if I need to put the door panels back on if I am in open class? TIA
  14. It has been slow....but is still making steady progress I can't wait until the whole car is resprayed. Hopefully I will then have some time to do the mechanical work coz that should not take too long to reinstall.
  15. Awesome work Mark! It will be good to see this in action on the track. The picture might be deceiving but is that a straight cut gear set with synchromesh?
  16. My mate did this in my shed a while a go. It's possible but you will have to massage the firewall and gearbox tunnel. We had a hoist, a hammer or two and around 4 blokes to fit it in coz I did not have a gearbox jack atm.
  17. It wont fit. With zero camber at the rear u will need around 1.75" to clear
  18. Mick, I dont have any plan for the black R32 at this stage but it will likely be return to stock and for sale. At the moment I don't have time or resource to build too many race cars. I still have the honda s2000 to finish off as well. Tackling one thing at a time at this stage. How is your N1 BNR32 going mate?
  19. Luke, I'm kicking myself for not looking at your build last time I dropped by either. From your thread it looks awesome! It will be great to catch up again mate.
  20. Thanks Beer Baron, I know it doesn't sound right and I hate to get draw into this drag vs circuit racers argument but that wasn't the reason why I bought the car so I just lol Thanks for the honest feedback regarding the cage Risking. The main hoop is 38mm. I am not planning to get it register because it costs too much and I never know when the authority will ban rally rego cars on the street. I greatly appreciate for your feedback. Thanks again.
