dont run the Z32 with the stock ECU at all.. as mentioned in here in earlier posts, it WILL lean your engine out.. Also, I agree with the theif being someone you know.. otherwise, how on earth would they know you got a PFC installed... (Unless you got APEXi stickers all ova ur car)

yeh this has happened to me before, and ive put on locking tabs.. also that gasket from the exhaust manifold to turbo is new.. the noise is like a high pitch surge, and comes on at around 7 - 10 psi.. before that i cant hear it.. the car still goes fine..

I just removed mine today and replaced it with an NTK one, does anyone know if these are any good? or how long their lifespan is? BTW I just removed it when the car was hot and sprayed heaps of WD40 on it, and it came off quite easily.. (make sure you use some kind of protective gloves if you do it while the dump and turbo are hot).

its not hard to take the turbo off yourself and send it to GCG.. you could have saved yourself $600 in labour.. also if you still have the stock oil and water lines, id change them with flexi lines..

yes i know this, its a loud whistling sound when it comes on boost, but its a different noise, its never made this noise before.. 233rwkw.. installing PFC + HC, Bosch 023 fuel pump and Z32 AFM on Friday, hoping to get around 250-260rwkw.. Full boost hits at around 3500rpm(very responsive).. Anyone had this problem before? I don't think the turbo is on its way out, as its only 1 year old.. :S

Lately when my 33 comes on boost, I hear a strange whistling noise coming from my HKS 2530kai turbo, not sure if its a hose or the turbine itself.. The turbo is only 1 year old and I only boost it to around 16psi, so I wouldnt think that its the end of the turbo, must be something else.. Any ideas?

these rb25? or 26 GTR injectors? this sounds more realistic.. and im definately considering getting the SARD 550s..

Im installing a PFC + HC, Bosch 023 fuel pump and a Z32, on an rb25det with HKS 2530kai turbo.. Do I need to upgrade the injectors aswell or leave the stock ones, as the 2530 is a smaller turbo?? Also, how much rwkw can i get with the stock rb25det injectors?

turned out very good, the finish is excellent, im very happy with it.. the only thing was, i couldnt get it to sit flat in between the tappet covers, i didnt want to bend it inwards, but i worked out if u try and centre it so it leans evenly on each tappet cover(about 5mm from the base) you can screw it in.. im going to try and get some better quality pics up as soon as i can.. THanks for the quick reply abu, its definitely a genuine pump, and he told me the same thing, that its good for around 700hp, and its very similar to the 040 with an open base.. I'm getting it installed next weekend, hopefully things will go smoothly.

I recently went to purchase a bosch 040 fuel pump, and my supplier got me an 023 model.. he reckons its bigger and pumps more fuel. But ive never heard of it.. Has anyone used one before? Is it worth installing? Cheers.

im gonna purchase one of these very soon, do i need to get the plug and adaptor aswell? or can i use the stock plug?
