  1. we are clearing out the last of our r33 gtst's for $11990 , have some nice clean stock ones and couple with some basic mods , a couple of 98 40th anniversary models also . once there gone we will not be importing anymore.
  2. we have done a couple of internally gated 3076s kits and some of the high flows with 3076 core. I dont know there ok but in all cases the internal gate is the restriction . they will make a handy 350hp+ but the external gate variant would make up to 100hp more also some of the cheap siemens/bosch with rail kits on ebay do not fit under the std plenum despite what they tell you . bolt in denso injectors will be a few hundred more but no need to mess around with rail , fittings , plenum if required.
  3. They are not legal if they are built in to the alarm or immobilizer , they are tolerated though and generally the pits and police are OK with them. ADR 25-Turbo timers are not to be fitted to vehicles manufactured on or after 1 January 1972 (ADR 25 Anti- Theft Locks). ADR 25 requires that the normal function of the engine only occurs when the ignition lock is in the engine on position. You may find it difficult to find a reputable person to fit the turbo timer with the immobiliser , not because of the ADR issues but because a relay bypass must be wired into the alarm to disable it while the turbo timer is operational , leaving the car unsecured and the installer liable. here is a nice thread , read the comments by the alarm installers in it and the stuff on bypassing security http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/356357-turbo-timer-vs-alarm/
  4. 1650$ is RRP for a link gtst/gtr plug in board . they are pretty strict on it so it should be no more no less . The vipec pricing can be a little wobbly as you have to factor in the state/regional distros and how much markup/discount they are giving to the next supplier in the chain. link/vipec is still the best ecu in price range by far IMO

  6. china is china , but cheap . HG is 3 times the price but obviously better . it all depends on your budget and requirements . were stocking the garrett 3076 internal gate kits which are insanely awesome if you have the budget
  7. sounds like your hole was drilled from before , none of the gtsts here have that hole from factory
  8. we highly recommend Midland pits if your ok with booking in advanced oconnor if you just want to rock up
  9. it just depends on who you get on the day I have seen an s15 require engineers approval for the FMIC because of the hole in the body for the return pipe
  10. not that hard to weld , if your panel paint guy is worried get them welded first then give it to him but bonnet pins is ok too
  11. not bad for a 3.5na mods ? 240-280rwhp is pretty good for a std turbo stock ecu car with the usual bolt on mods
  12. we have no problem with them turning up whenever they want as we have nothing to hide . as a long term member of the raws association I would encourage MORE random inspections with no notice.
  13. +1 spend 70$ and get it checked on the dyno stock ecu's can be strange things , lean when they should be rich and vice versa
  14. wow this thread is going well have you checked to see how much oil is actually in the car before you swap it out , its probably half full we only charge 135$ for a oil and filter service and there are a few other workshops who have skyline experience charging around that . it doesn't really cost anymore . ring around the consolidated workshop thread and you'll get a good price
  15. on every random inspection I have ever had they just rock up with no notice . on my last sample car the inspector told me an amusing story where they did another sample car inspection , finished a little early , had some time to kill so wen't back to the same workshop to do a random inspection on a different car surprise!

  19. resistance and visual damage does not always mean much , i have seen many that look in perfect condition , measure fine and still die under load also they often spark at idle but break down under full load best way to tell is to get a good coil and swap them out one by one and test under load did you replace all the coil packs with something decent like splitfires last time or did you just replace the 1 with a stock one ? if so get some splitfires and never worry about it again
  20. should be ok keep an eye on the tourqe split guage , if it does funny things like puts torque forward when it shoulding , puts torque forward and holds it there or contantly runs a little but of front torque you have a problem
  21. 33s have speed variable power steering , softer at low km , harder at high km depending on how hicas is cancelled you will lose the variable part and only have the harder setting
