  1. I got a HKS silent hi power catback installed yest. I also have a hks front pipe on my gtr. The exhaust its quiet. I dont know why people say its loud on here.. I can barely hear it lol. And the canon on the back is a better size compared to the kaki. It might b louder if i get a proper high flow cat tho.. i still got a stock or compliance one on there.. ill see soon i guess.
  2. CA's sure are underated... I had a CA18 silvia, 180kms motor, never been rebuilt, still had 100km jap service stick on the moror. Just bolt ons.. Disco potato .64 3inch full zaust power fc, fmic etc the lot (with an unopened motor and no aftermarket cams) And i was running 22psi on it all day everyday for 200kw for over a year before i decided to buy a gtr... its still going.. would be close to two years now. It even saw 25psi on a few spikefull occasions. No car could beat it off the line interms of acceleration. I don't know what people do to blow them @ 1bar or 1.2bar but my stock ca was a bullet. I wouldnt forge a CA just for 200kw, but then again maybe i was just lucky with it. It never lost to any SR.

  5. How much $$ are we looking at shipping the exhaust to syd? and would you happen to be able to pair it up with maybe some front pipes?
  6. Theres are the ebay ones yeah? I thought they were worth it but the cost comes @ 1650 AUD for turbos + 200 AUD for postage = 1850. U will need gaskets + other lil things etc= $$ They retail off nengun NEW in the box with everything for 2800 or so delivered. So for like an extra $700 bux say... wouldnt you just buy NEW ones and you know u WONT have any problems? And they might be a factory replacement.. but to go 2530's instead on lets say a stock gtr motor? LAG? imo id stick the the gtss's since they will net you the fabled 300kw's most people want. Depends what he wants really anyway.
  7. Hey people.. Recently my exhaust has started to rust and crack through on my stock(ish) R32 gtr. Its only a boost controller, pods, hard pipe kit. (with stock turbos) So yeah anyway, i been looking at purchasing a full turboback X-force exhaust + dumps. (for just over 1k stainless steel new) Has anyone on here got it on their gtr? Is it too loud?... i don't really want to be a defect magnet. Ive been considering purchasing a kakimoto cat-back system 'for now' from justjap and then purchasing the front pipes and dumps later. But i think that xforce seems to have much better value. So what do we think? and what sort of power gains would i be looking at? @ 12-14psi?
