kidafa replied to kidafa's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Here is more info and pictures on these wheels and tyres in response to every one's PM's. 2 of the tyres are Kuhmo KU23 Ecsta's in 225 40 18 and the other 2 are Blue Streak Stiletto's in 225 40 18. Both are directional and have very good tread (see pictures) 2 of the wheels have descent rash while the other two have a few small bits here and there if anything, once again see pictures. Wheels can be run with our without center caps, all four are multi stud. Wheels originally came from JMS on a car they imported. -

May I ask why you'd suggest skimping out 75 dollars And potentially having to so the work again when they still don't seal up after you have "cleaned" them.... Do it once, do it right

Hi Nick! Saw you driving last sunday near Erindale I was in a hairdressers car... (convertable audi) Didnt want to wave as I didnt want it making it on here! Question, do you have an aftermarket dump pipe? and if so does it have a mounting bracket from the front cat flange in place to the mount on the gear box? If not the alot of weight from the zhorst is on the dump/turbo/manifold region thus working these rear manifold bolts loose! Mines been doing it for ever and had it on a hoist with a mate during the week and he noticed it straight away. +1 On spend rocker cover gaskets and / or half moons ;-) Easy job. buy them and well tee up a time to strip the covers of with yourself adam and I for a catch up

Keeping Records Of Your Services/oil Changes Ect....
kidafa replied to kidafa's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Exactly what I was after and purchased one this morning :-) I dont see the point in not doing the filter and the oil at the same time, they cost 7 dollars or something stupid why not spend it. So when you change all the little bits and pieces is all stored in your head? Wish I could keep track of 02 changes, plug changes, air regulator cleans, coolant flushes, diff oils ect ect.... I personally think a modded car engine bay needs a GOOD visual inspection from above and below at least 3/4 times a year -
Hi All, As of the majority of us DIY our services on our cars Im curious as to what method everyone uses to know when they have changed/replaced things. Sure oil and filter is a pretty easy one to remember as its at every 5th thousand for most of us... More curious as to how every one records when they change fuel filters, 02 sensors, longer lasting oils than engine ect ect.... Ive got into a habit of if the item comes with a sticker saying when to change it next or when it was installed and putting it in the fuse box under the ignition, how ever not all things come with these. Cheers, Chris

What Have You Done To Your Stagea Lately?
kidafa replied to Hanso's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
The C34 got some love today.... Oil and filter 02 Sensor Check and adjust of all other fluids Bay wipe down Also had a crack at getting my windscreen jets to start spraying a good flow of water again to no avail.... Pulled them off and stuck a pin through the holes on the top and where the hose connects to with slight improvement but not much..... Ideas? Is their a diaphragm inside these of some sort to help build up pressure or anything that I may have stabbed through with the pin? -
