  6. My car has a full 3" turbo back exhaust and only has a cat and rear muffler. makes similar power to other cars with same mods except they have cannons... get a good rear muffler, mine is 84dB tested.
  7. Find your budget. Search in your budget on carsales or something. Narrow it down to a few and go test drive them. A few of them incase you drive a dud or 2 first up then buy the one you prefer

  9. If it isnt sorted is there a way to check the springs or diaphrams in the actuators? May be a possibility thats over looked. If one or both aren't working properly could that be causing the boost to do what its doing?
  10. Sorry. The GT3076 made 260 in a 33, my car is a HR31 with a S2 25 But thats the spacer it needed to clear the exhaust manifold. I have upgraded from an R34 turbo that made 207 rwkw at 10psi. I have a dyno printout for that one but the 3076 is yet to be tuned.
  11. I have just had an almost identical looking turbo fitted to my car. Same comp housing, stock 25 exhaust housing and it needed a 35mm spacer for the comp housing to clear the exhaust manifold. I am yet to have it tuned but has previously made 260rwkw on 16psi (RB25DET S2). My car isnt tuned yet so cant comment on response. I am pretty excited to get mine tuned needless to say.
  12. I think its a bit hit and miss with those. some ppl dont have a problem. I had mine in about 4 years which some people say is pretty good. I now have some Denso pump, 2 years so far and going well and it flows more than an 040. No idea on the model of it tho.

Just to add. my 040 primed ok, car idled ok and would rev ok under no load but as soon as it was in gear and under the load is when it wasn't holding any presure so although you have found an issue with your injectors, if it doesn't fix it don't rule out the pump or pressure reg until u have had it all tested.
  14. Check ur fuel pressure to. I had these issues with my car and the main cause was a stuffed 040 not presurising the the lines enough under any sort of load.

  16. Aside from wheels and exhaust tip it looks genuine. Try on R31 skyline club. Might be someone on there selling it and you might get more history on it if it's been in the country a while. Genuine ones can go for 17k + depending on condition of course
  17. It was nice and the bov went in at the factory position. The intake was a solid copy of the stock one. New stainless airbox coming.
  18. Here is how the intake was setup when it was stalling. This is how I had it afterwards to fix the stalling. I'm more convinced it was the ripples in the flex pipe than the extra length and bend, obviously had the air filter on for the test, this was taken before I put it on for the sake of the pic .
