  1. Yeah a big thanks to the organisers and helpers today, you guys are the true performers cause all of this wouldn't happen without you. We had an awesome day (apart from the little mishap after lunch involving an oil line which ended the day for us, curiously enough Duncan had just finished taking the car for a spin ) The car was incredible all day and even drove onto the trailer which was is always a bonus (who said RB's aren't reliable?) Glad to hear everyone had a ball and hope to see you all at the next one.
  2. Lucky me
  3. Thanks for all the PM's guys. Have acquired a block. Mod's please close thread Thanks.
  4. I need a stuffed (because I don't really want to buy one) RB engine block that I can take off someones hands. Can be any size just needs to be an RB and the round section of the water pump needs to be intact as this is what I need to cut off and weld onto my other block. Needs to be located in/around Sydney. My number is 0401 933 559 Cheers, Jay
  5. I'd have to agree. It's hard to beat an Evo on the track. They're just so easy to drive fast. Plus if you have no interest in registering it you could buy a race only import for cheaper than the local ones. You can pretty much throw a cage in them, chuck some decent pads and semi's on and be fast. If I decide to sell the GTR and get another track car it'd probably be an Evo9.
  6. They said on the radio it was a white skyline.
  7. Bolt in are fine as far as I know, there are a few guys that compete with bolt in cages.
  8. You should post in the wanted to buy section.
  9. Mine was suppose to be a budget build, now it's a missive snowball! Not nearly as big as your but....... yet I should have just bought the gray car complete. It's going to be basically how it was before we stripped it minus the dry sump and that will probably get done in the not to distant future too. Why do we always do things the hard way first time around?
  10. You really need to tell us what you want to use it for and roughly how much you looking to spend? GTR's can get really expensive really quickly and you can get a gtst to go just as quick.
  11. They were in the NSW members section so I'll post them here.
  12. Yeah 2nd August. Same day as Oran Park GP super sprint
  13. Yeah but probably wont compete until next year. I'll spend this year finishing it and setting it up. Brad did a round in it last year and won the round.
  14. Chris here is a link to the Safety Rules and Regs page on the MRA site. It has the basic info on want you need to compete. http://www.motorracingaustralia.com.au/rul...afety/index.htm Your car would be perfect for it. They ran an MX5 class on the day.
  15. Sucks to hear mate. Hopefully it's only minor but doesn't sound like it
  16. I was worried that we were going to see the first ever safety car pit stop for fuel
  17. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a job at the moment. I have a lot of contact with different electrical companies and they are all struggling for work. The company I used to work for has in the last 12 months gone from about 180 electricians down to about 50. What sort of work are you doing at the moment? eg. maintenance, breakdown, construction, industrial?
  18. PowerFC sold All prices negotiable on the rb26 parts
  19. Don't worry Erin, there's plenty of boring photo's of you staying on the track. I've PMed you my number Brenton.
  20. Like these? Spinning off is half the fun!
  21. It's just your eyes Ando. All of them except the first 2 were taken from turn 4. I'm pretty sure the first 2 were taken at turn 2. It is a pretty awesome photo of Greg. The photographer had some pics of a torana from friday that was sideways on 2 wheels on a 45 degree angle. Had 4 consecutive shots of it, looked awesome. Apparently he didn't roll it.
