  1. Before u remove the tail shaft mark with a white paint pen or liquid paper from flange to flange at the diff end so it goes back together the same way it came out.
  2. I'll be there for a butchers hook too, taking the DR for a run. If u are gonna be there Sam bring that Tacho if u still have it and if I see u in the pits i will have a look.
  3. Sorry to freak u out dude, I'm sure it was at some stage 30k's over=reckless but that was back in the day when P's were only for a year n shit. Man I've had my licence for 20 years, makes a fella feel old as my oldest boy is about a month away from his licence
  4. Isn't 30kays over the limit deemed as dangerous driving and loss of licence material??
  5. T&R Green (TRG) in Beckenham are pretty good too, and resonably priced to boot.
  6. Phuk thats expensive man, cost me about $130-$140 for bonnet "S" badge and both front 1/4 R/S badges brand new ex-Japan. Seems there's way more of a DR scene in south oz compared to WA too, I reckon if I organised a DR cruise in Perth u could counT the turn out on 1 hand
  7. No, no DR30 forum, much to my disgust, doesn't seem to be enough of us around.
  8. 94?...........R33?.......... WOT THE FU_K
  9. Hmm have a Skyline but it's not RB powered, what class would I be in?
  10. Ok I was stuck at Perth domestic aiport today with my flight to work delayed by 4 hours and picked up the January edition of Top Gear magazine which has an excellent write up on the R35 GTR (apparently the Skyline logo has been dropped from the GTR) They took it for a bit of a fang on the "no limit" German autobahns and matched it up against a 911 turbo, plus the Stig jumped in for a fang too . If you can get hold of the mag grab it as it's a pretty good read.
  11. N/A, WTF, fair enuff it's a well set up unit but why a carby fed N/A for f_ck sake, and 25k. Nah no thanx.
  12. Yeh I saw this car for sale on FJ20.com, I like it personally and think it is an absolute bargain for the price it is being offered for. Lots of money, time and R&D put into it too.
  13. Mate the RBXX motors are not the be all and end all of choice for nissan conversions, if I WAS to do a conversion on my DR the RB would be down my list , including the venerable RB26. I'd look at a 1/2jz or a 1uzfe with a pair of snails on board for good measure as all these motors are typically Toyota over engineered and are excellent power producers with even minor bolt on mods. But as I said no plans to swap my FJ out of my DR for as far as I'm concerned the FJ is the best production engine Nissan has ever produced;). Ok bring it on P.S. no drugs for me, get tested at work lol.
  14. On the topic of 550cc injectors can anyone identify top feed injectors from their colour, I have 2 sets, one is green and the other is red and I'm interested in their origin. Cheers, Vaughan.
  15. From what i have been told the GTR injectors are side feed as opposed top feed on the FJ, I have 13B injectors in my DR and is basically the same thing as standard only bigger from what I can tell. This is an uneducated opinion mind u but the 13B's are an excellent and cheap upgrade with them being available for less than $300 for a set of 4.
  16. Wot power plant does the HR30 come with from the factory then?? L20et is it??
  17. When u say it has a 260Z u mean an L26 right?? From a 260Z, I'm just a little confused is all.
  18. Dude i have a GT35R on my FJ20'd DR30 that makes 330rwhp @ 16psi and 355@ 19psi so I opt for the Garret, go to horsepowerinabox.com, they have direct replacement GT series turbo's for Nissan engines for just under the 2k mark. P.S. The DR will lay SERIOUS rubber down in 3rd :}
  19. Well I'm going to go out on a limb here and take the possible flaming that goes with it but...........keep ya RB motors for R31/32/33/34's and leave the DR's alone, the FJ is what they are born with and should be left as such, if u want to put an RB in something put one in a Pintara, cheap to buy and come with great seats
  20. Yeh rick all will be good, I have interchanged L4 and L6 pumps from all versions and as far as I am aware they are all one and the same. Good old nissan interchangability.
  21. I've had SU's and Webbers on L series engines before and I've only ever used the standard mechanical pump which I have been told by numerous carby tuners is more than adequate and with no pressure reg required. Is a bit more farking around with a leccy one too. Cheers, Vaughan.
  22. Gotta be the big bad "last of the V8 interceptors hey" black falcon coupe in Mad Max. Thing is I hate Falcons now. And a Miata is the yank version of the Mazda MX5
  23. Yeh a mate of mine Deza has a microtech in his FJ powered 180B wagon and he loves it, good features, lots of guys in Perth can tune em (unlike my wolf V4) and he doesn't have a hand controller. Word on the street is microtech make a good ecu that mates well with almost anything FJ's included.
  24. Yeh I know Grant he's built a cupla coolers for me, I thought he only did ITS turbo's but?
  25. Hee Hee P.H.A.T fat
