  1. Check out the classifieds section Jk, i've seen a few pop up for sale lately, and Yes a gtr spoiler will fit, it may require drilling of holes but its possible as above
  2. Not just yet im afraid, a few mechanical issues that need nutting out are costing me a little, need the car running well for april skid pan!
  3. Re-wrapping the interior using Hexis HX 30000 Black Carbon This stuff is slightly more glossy than the 3M product and has a slightly smaller weave
  4. The Hexis vinyls are pretty damn good, currently re-wrapping the interior of the 34 in the 30000 Black Carbon, Also going to re-wrap the exterior when they finally release the 1600mm wide rolls which should hopefully be within the next 2 months....
  5. good idea do that and flick me the sizes, cost ya next to nothing
  6. hey adam, I've made this sort of thing before for brake calipers. That said, i cant imagine it would enjoy the heat from them under heavy braking, a suggestion would be to go with a mask cut from vinyl that you can stick on, and just spray the lettering on, then when its dry, peel away the mask and presto! Brembo on the brakes. I can help you there also if you like.
  7. Slightly different size, but to give you an idea 18x9 +20 all around 225's on the front 245 on the rear
  8. To fit a gtr front bar you will need gtr front guards, either that or get the front bar customized to fit the gtt guards ($$?) The rest as above ^^
  9. lol you do get those on occasion
  10. This can be arranged.... I had an older HWY patrol cop pull me over once, surprisingly was one of the nicer cops i've come across, gave the usual wrap and said 'these cars are pretty quick hey' couldn't help but smile at that.
  11. Hey Matt, Can you possibly throw up a price on some Sunline ones? Cheers
  12. Yes you would have to use 4 ballasts, one for each globe, not sure about the W5W globes, T10's are easy enough to come by
  13. and yeah +1 about the D2R if fitting HID's
  14. Headlights are H1 as above
  15. Chances are the vinyl will have already lost its adhesiveness since the install, so its unlikely youll be able to remove the bubbles, its ok to pop them and push outthe air when you first do the install but over time it loses its adhesion. Sadly its probably time to re wrap it
  16. These guys hit the nail on the head, The issue is, with that type of vinyl, it has a lower adhesion that others due to the pattern and (if its the one im thinking of) the honeycomb effect on the back designed to make application easier. When the vinyl is stretched to conform to curves and such, it loses a portion of its adhesion, which can cause it to pop up when exposed to high temperatures such as those experienced in a car on a warm day when the windows are up. This is usually counteracted with a small dose of adhesive promoter/primer to add that extra 'stick' around areas where the vinyl has been stretched. Should come off fine with the above methods
  17. ....I sold him negative reputation points... lol
  18. i must admit, quite diappointed in the whole reset business once you go prestige...
  19. Without an immobiliser the 34 indicators wont flash when you lock your doors using the buttons on the key, if you have an immobiliser, as i do, the installer will usually set it up so that the indicators flash when arming the immobiliser with the alarm remote, still the inidcators don't flash if i just lock the car using the key remote rather than the alarm remote
  20. ah nice, yeah i did the whole lot with carbon vinyl, except the triple gauge cluster. where did you get your carbon bits from?
  21. http://translate.google.com.au/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://www.superior-cia.com/&ei=tzchTYbGAsrCccjD_bQK&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CCcQ7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsuperior%2Bcia%26hl%3Den%26safe%3Doff%26biw%3D1680%26bih%3D860%26prmd%3Divns These guys do most interior parts in carbon for R34's, a little experimenting will get you to the right section for the parts. That said, those pics you quoted are what i wrapped in carbon look vinyl, so they aren't real carbon. Little side project while i haven't been working on the 34
  22. Hi Marco, Doing a quick search will bring up all the info you need as this has been covered a few times, FYI, You can usually get the fronts for $150-200 and the sides for $80-150 depending on where you buy them from. I bought nismo smoked indicators for my 34, front and sides, from www.perfectrun.jp (they also stock the clear ones) Decent delivery time and were the cheapest i found for the Nismo indicators. I think it cost me around $250 ish all up as i also bought other parts at the same time to save on shipping. It's definatly a DIY job, they are a piece of cake to change. The side indicators you simply put some pressure on from the left side (i think it was the left, if it doesnt work just try the right side) and just wedge it out, undo the plug and slot the new one in in reverse. The fronts i would recommend removing the front bar to replace, you can do it without it, but im not keen on doing it that way, undo all of the bolts under the front bar holding on the diffuser panels. Pull back the wheel arch plastic/mud guards and there is a bolt on either side holding the front bar up, undo those, and then undo the clips on the top of the front bar under the bonnet and it should come off no problems, then you can clearly see the wiring plug running to each indicator, un clip the plugs, and then remove the front bar completely. Then just squeeze together the metal clips on the backs of the indicators and they should pop out, do this all in reverse to put the new ones in. Job done!
  23. Ok guys, bit of an update here, Finally solved my problem with the foam on the door skins, the best solution was to take the skin off the door, and lay it flat, then with a scuffing pad scrub the crap out of it until the foam eventually all came off (forgot to get pics of it at that stage) after that, a blade around the edge took off any of the excess bits in the recess. Also, before i attacked the foam i figure, whilst the door skin is off i might as well wrap the window controls and also the triangles in the corners of the door where most people mount a tweeter. TRIANGLE PASSENGER WINDOW CONTROLS This is what the drivers door looks like at the moment, with all of the excess foam all over it, Horrible! (will attack this door tonight) Then, these (and a scuffing pad that i forgot to include in the pic) Added together = And all back together retrimmed skin with carbon-ized window trims and triangles Stay Tuned!
