Sorry to dig up an extremely old thread, but i am curious... I have never noticed my oil pressure change before, in any car, has always been steady at half way. Yesterday in my R33 gtst the gauge started moving with the revs. (as it seems it should be) range from about 2.5 at idle to 5.5 when accelerating. I'm a bit confused as I have not seen it move before, and now its working ok??? I have owned 5 cars previously and driven loads of others and not noticed oil pressure movement. Over the weekend I had a run at the drags, so would/could this have flushed out a blockage and started things working better? has been about 4000km since last service which was before i bought the car, so am planning one soonish. I'm just stumped why i never noticed movement before, yet everywhere i read seems to say thats what should be happening..
