  4. sorry lukits havnt bolted back on yet will do it on friday so i am not sure what gaskets i nedd.There is a steel gasket that i removed between turbo and dump pipe and i can surely re use this one as for the seal between turbo and manifold i cant remember but i will have a look for you and post again a little later.
  5. that sounds great guys almost funny.Every tyre shop will balance tyres and use what ever not to scratch your mags.Would you pay for a job if your wheels were scratched...????? Guys this is common service you will find from any reputable tyre shop.The only question to be asked from tyre shops is what is your price.....
  6. jay remember if you need someone to take your car and burn it around the block to blow the cobwebs out of it i am always available.!!I can put on a beard and turn up to the track in your car too, if you still want to be seen there.
  7. what amp ahve you got .Unless its a decent amp you would probably be better off replacing.If you speak to someone at dick smith or tandy or jaycar they will be able to put you onto an electronics repairer.Most cheaper amps are not worth fixing. Go easy on the thumpin tunes man,if your blowing amps imagine what your ears are doin!!
  8. sorry mate just read your post properly again and it seems iv phuked up.I didnt realize u had a boost controller.Ok well this is what the car should run at when boost completely wound down because skylines have a 5psi wastegate actuator .
  9. skylines have a stock 2 stage boost controller.I am not sure of the rpm but they boost 5 psi say for eg up to 4500 and then 7 from there on wards.Next to your airbox right against the passenger strut tower u will see the boost controller it has 2 vacuume lines running to ot and an electrical connection .make sure that the electrical connection is plugged in right.If this still dosnt work try your mates or another one as thisd is the only thing that will change the boost pressure from ehat uv described.
  10. i got them mate mine are fairly stiff i have king springs in it too.Every time i have the car sideways at what ever speed whether on power or on the brakes it is very controllable and sits very flat.The car is comfortable though not too bumpy .They are blue in colour.
  11. are you using a turbo xs bleed valve (gated)?my mate had similar prob with his so we put my turbosmart one in and all fixed.....just a stab in the dark but i thought i would ask aaaaiiight
  12. palazzo versace i got engaged there and we were lucky to get an upgrade to imperial suite(3500 a night) it is on the gold coast spit cant go wrong close to fishermans warf which is a great social are full of pubs and food all on the water.Check it out on palazzoversace.com.au Honestly the best place on the coast undesputably.My other favourite is Suncity a really cool place has steam room,spa, sauna all the perks without the glamourous name and price tag of versace.My missus works for tourism queensland so if u got any other questions message me and i will hel you out.

  14. just spoke to rob at turbo torque .The turbo will be highflowed both compressor to t3 and exhaust.The skyline turbo is non repairable so he is using parts off a vlk turbo then high flowing to t03/t04 for $1450. the new turbo will give 20-25% hp increase. Just for intrest brisbane turbo and tuning quote 2100

  16. turbo is off now took me 1 1/2 hrs gasket from turbo to dump pipe in good condition.The head was off the car about 5 months ago so most studs and gaskets are fresh.The only prob i had was unbolting water line that sits between turbo and engine but i left it till last as it was hard to get to and slightly kinked it but its fixed now.The turbo is now at Turbo Torque (used them before on my vl turbo and they were very affordable and dont add on extra costs ).Hopefully have it back in a week and then bolt it up and off we go. Does anyone know if there is an air bleed screw in the cooling system on r33's. Also is there a process to bolting back on that involves priming oil into turbo or any thing little that needs doing prior to starting the engine. thanks again

  19. hello every one.I have recently discovered that my stoko turbo has shat an oil seal.I am in the process of removing it and i have all intercooler piping out of the way. I need help with the following -where do i disconnect the dump pipe at the turbo or where it bolts onto the main exhaust (300mm away from turbo) -what is the best method for removing the oil and water lines how do i get to the rear oil or water line right next to the exhaust manifold -do i remove the exhaust manifold or just unbolt turbo from it -when i pull water and oil lines off will i need to plug them up or will they not leak -Are there any gaskets i need -Any other information that may help me with the removal and installation of new turbo Thanks in advance for anyone contributing any info,as you could probably tell i am planning to get the job done myself and have decided removing and rebuilding and high flowing original turbo,i know lots of people will disagree and suggest putting monster turbos and manifolds on but unfortunately this is the budget i am on, and have heard positive info from some reliable turbo re builders in bris.
  20. i think he may have a problem with wastegate actuator or he has a leak somewhere in the piping and it is only leaking after 5 psi .Also could be a leaking vacuume hose somewhere.

  22. yes but check that when its boosting that the wastegate does close off enough it may be too far open and not be regulating boost just leaking it out ...let me know how you go

  24. exhaust wheel sounds ***ed .Or waste gate staying open ,check the rod going from the actuator to the exhaust side of turbo u should be able to feel if it is closed .just replace the actuator or the vacuume hose to it.
  25. hey shane u saw my mates r33,Nismo blue its an awsome looking car.He lives at bundamba i recon its the best skyline i have ever seen.Its 1997 fmic and has full hks adjustable suspension .The car is hot makes mine look like a piece of crap
