  1. You my sir are a very knowlegable man but this one i have to disagree with a small amount. I know it has been talked about alot and some pro people say they are bad and some say they are not. Well i ran a K&N Panel for 3 years in the GTT no problem and good power boost and i have had one in my daily for years and never a problem. So that makes me think that the only thing that kills Airflow meters is over oiled filters. Hey maybe in the last 5 years i have just been lucky, but i have never had a problem with K&N oiled filters nor do i know anyone that has.. I just like them because they look stock, have dyno proven power increase the same if not better then a pod, never need to be replaced etc. By they way this is worth a read LINK READ #27 100 out of 100 MAF set to them and tested had no trace of K&N oil. And come on they Sell millions of these if they were that bad they would be broke by now. LOL end of Rant ...
  2. Question why not a stock air box and highflow panel filter e.g K&N. It's going to make better power then a pod will with no heat protection or ducting too it... Not to mention all you will do is give the police more to look at or a reason to look at your car further.. Do you know that MINES always runs the stock airbox as he says it creates good enough flow. Good enough for one of the best tuners in Japan good enough for me. Just my two cents why change what works well.
  3. Intake temp sensor: 22630 - 95L00 ---- $160 Exhaust temp sensor: 22740 - AA300 --- $ 380 These were the prices that i paid. And yes if you are doing a MFD in GTT etc as i did then you need to drill and mount the intake sensor in the intercooler and get a female thread welded on your dump pipe for exhaust temp sensor. Now do keep in mind that if you are doing this to a non Vspec GTR then it may be a better option to pay $ 600 more and get the Nismo upgarde V2 for the MFD (PART: 2371B-RSR48) as it comes with the Exhaust sensor, You then get the bonus of higher boost (2 bar), oil pressure on MFD, G sensor, lap timer and data logger software.

  6. If anything the high km's are a good thing because it is less chance the speedo has been played with and on the point of it having 197000 km if you compair that to it being a 16year old car then it is only what 12500km a year, this is about the average. With any car this age even if it has only got 80000km on it, will generaly need work done every so often like shocks will be a bit sad from all that weight for 16 years, bushes may need to be done, things like that but engine wise it does no have a turbo so less heat and less componets to break and there are heaps of cars with 200000, 300000+kms and still go well when maintained. With all cars you should check the history and also the condition when you buy it. e.g. blowing smoke, oil leaks, low km but a worn stearing wheel (dodgy kms), transmision sounds and slipping clutch etc. Hope that helps Good Luck...
  7. The next R33 under the one you showed us is a Manual, Non Turbo, 1994, in SA and only $7500. Ticks all the boxes :-) and dont worry to much mate because chances are over he next year before you get your P's there will probley be heaps more. OR Look outside your state and just fly there and pick it up and road trip it home some times can save big dollars.. Carsales R33 Link
  8. Yes it is possible with the correct Boss kit and as with all things to do with the SRS you should always take the negitive terminal of the battery. Your biggest problem will be that it is illegal to remove an airbag from a street registered vehicle.(this also means no company would do it for you) The only thing you may get away with is if your putting in a R34 GTR wheel or the Momo edition wheel as these both have air bags and should work as normal... Hope that helps.
  9. Yea not going to have much luck with that as they are illegal to own or import in any other state except NSW and QLD class A , B or H wepon so that also means you need to have a firearms licence and the red muzel cap must be left on. Also all automatic airsoft guns are banned in all states and that goes for military replicas too.. Here are the Laws per state. (taken from Australian Airsoft Council Website) New South Wales: All replica or imitation firearms are classified as prohibited firearms and it is illegal for an individual to own or possess one in NSW without the authority of a permit, and permits for prohibited firearms are restricted to people and/or organisations who have a specific purpose, for example Theatrical Armourers. NSW Police Ballistics Unit have classified the Airsoft range as prohibited firearms due to their similar appearance to actual firearms. Queensland: Airsoft replicas that have automatic firing and/or similar appearance to prohibited automatic military style assault weapons or machine guns are prohibited to own or possess. Other single shot and semiauto airsoft replicas are classed under License Categories A, B & H. South Australia: Airsoft firearms that have a velocity 1 metre from the muzzle of under 180 foot per second are not firearms in South Australia hence not restricted. Airsoft firearms above 180 foot per second 1m from the muzzle are firearms and depending on calibre for long arms will be either an A or B class firearm. Hand guns are H Class. Victoria: Airsoft articles are not permitted in Victoria under the Victorian Legislation and Victoria Police will not issue any authorisation for their importation. Western Australia: Airsoft articles are not permitted in Western Australia and Western Australian Police will not issue any authorisation for their importation. Currently single shot spring powered airsoft guns commonly referred to as sniper rifles (that do not replicate automatic weapons) and gas powered hand guns (without automatic function) may be (technically) imported into some Australian states, such as Queensland. To own, possess or import these devices one requires appropriate license/permission from the weapons licensing branch of each state, and to gain such license/permission, one requires a "genuine reason" among other things. Airsoft is not considered a genuine reason because a) there is no such sport and b)no range will permit the use of airsoft guns anyway. So practically there is no way to own, import, possess or use an airsoft gun in Australia.
  10. Why wait for him to part it when you can have the whole car for free... Either that or he did not read the forum rules before posting that say you MUST list a price...
  11. NO we don't spam post just to get the count up.. If you don't have something to say or can't comment on posts correctly then i am sure i am not alone when i say you are not welcome on SAU or any forum i am sure.... Anyway if you don't have your post count up yet you could just call him on Monday at his shop after 8am. Mobile: 0407-102-839[/font] LINK Audio Express p.s I am sure that you need to have the code for the key this is normaly a small steel tag with the keys, someone correct me if i am wrong.
  12. ^^^ plus 1 or though Chris not to sure about HSV fast but very close and lets face it for the price of a a HSV and the options you get with the V36 it is the best deal for the money. I mean damn holden don't even option HID's for the $70000 dollar GTS (FAIL) and it's a pretty good car, not to mention what a Twin Turbo 3.0L Sv6 would do but they need better options lol... Any way go the V36 i Know i am thinking about a 2010 model.... P.s V36 on a Mountain road vs GTS i would say V36 = FUN and WIN... close to the same 0 to 100 and better handling by far..
  13. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is Back in about 3 weeks Looking good so far from the clips Made by EA, Criterion(Burnout), and Blackbox so should be good... But come on GT5 in 12 days. oww yea.. By the way underground was good for mods etc but needed Cops... Hot Pursuit Video
  14. You could try Rolin Automotive they are on the Coast. LINK or Unique Auto Sports they are in New South Wales. Link or If your game Power Play Imports but this would appear to be Real Dry Carbon so Big dollars i guess. Link There are more around but i guess if you wait long enough one will pop up in the for sale section. Hope that helps
  15. Not a problem.. Just note that 90% of "carbon bonnets" are just fiberglass with carbon overlay. Real Carbon bonnets cost big dollars e.g. Nismo CF for R34 GTR about $5000 Unless you are just after the look.. Well good luck.
  16. These may help you they are the only ADR approved aftermarket bonnets i am aware of. Blitz Bodykits Hope that helps you out.
  17. You could try DMD they are at Slacks Creek The work i have seen them do has all be good and he is priced well with a number of options. LINK (DMD The Image) You could also try Blitz Bodykits at Molendinar on the Gold Coast they don't show to much range on there site but i think they do stock full kits and also ADR approved fiberglass bonnets. Also the work i have seen is of good standard. Link (BLITZ Bodykits) Good Luck
