  1. ^^^^ You do realise this thread is like 3 Years old right??? and i don't think Andru is even a member anymore... Maybe post in the wanted to buy section and see how you go.. Good Luck
  2. I would recommend you get the exhaust from CES Racing. They are fully Australian made and shipped all over the world Fully bolt on. Also the guy the came up with this twin dump pipe design so to increase flow by putting the waste gate in separate and boy does it work and the wastgate sound is perfect and legal unlike those stupid screamer crap. I bought mine from Trevor and was the best upgrade and sound. Better the any china junk and will kick most big name brands. LINK TO CES RACING Specs: 3" NISSAN R34 GTT $1850 MILD STEEL BASE COST $2250 STAINLESS STEEL UPGRADE + 3”TURBO TWIN DUMP PIPE- MILD STEEL (PAINTED) + 3” HI FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER FULLY FLANGED + 3” CENTRE SECTION WITH OVAL RESONATOR + 3” TWIN TIPPED POLISHED S.S. OVAL REAR MUFFLER + SILVER CERAMIC COATED TWIN DUMP PIPE EXTRA + PRICING CHOICES AVAIL. M.S. OR S.S. PIPEWORK + POWER PICK UP 40 KW @THE WHEELS + 2 DOOR & 4 DOOR MODELS 40Kw at the wheels is good power for just the exhaust and no cheap system will get this power. The system is legal db also and you can have a cannon or stock look. Through in a K&N panel filter in you stock air box, front mount, good electric boost controller and a good dyno tune and you should see around 200 Kw at the wheels. You are changing the way the car breathes so make sure you get the dyno tune to check air fuel and get the best out of the car with or without the boost controller. Just my two cents, let us know what ya do and how you go. Also WELCOME to SAU
  3. Congrats on the car mate, Looks perfect.. Hope your having loads of fun with it. Can't wait for our next toy (still miss the GTT)..
  4. This is one of the ultimate R34 GTT's for sale... I can vouch for the care put into this car, just from the perfect condition of the Nismo rear bar and side skirts i bought from SS8 GOHAN. Ladies and gentlemen if you want a car that has been looked after and cared for with a good history i would have to say this is it.. Good luck with the sale man and thanks again for the kit. Gee I miss the R34, You know you will too.
  5. For those that don't know, keep in mind you can not opt out of SPYNET when you use MSE!!!! Microsoft or anyone telling you that you can only do it there way is just not on in my opinion! Just another reason i would never use it.. Invasive!!!!! And they do say that they may (accidently 'yea right') recover personal information. including where the information is stored on your HDD etc. LINK TO REVIEW Remember my friends the best of anything is never free...
  6. Not a problem... hope i did't sound to bossy in that post lol.. let us know what ya do hey and maybe even some before and after pictures. Phillips do a 5000k globe called Diamond Vision but keep in mind just like the aftermarket HID's no ADR LINK Phillips Xenons are only 4200k but they are 300% brighter then normal globes Link Let us know hey
  7. Kaspersky hungry????? It is running right now and using all of 2,000k of memory (not real hungry if you ask me) I have used it for the last 4 years and from the start it has been the least demanding of all the Protection on the market. I used to do alot of online gaming and it never affected system performance. They also have one of the most up to date virus databases with updates every couple of hours. It is even one of the cheapest now (atleast in AUS) with a 3pc use 2 year licence only costing $89. Quick review to read. (it has been top 2 for the last 3 years and only second this year due to cost, as you can see) Review 1 There are a couple of other reviews that have it listed lower but they even say it is only due to the cost. You will find Kaspersky will get faster at scans as it gets on but do remember the bigger the drive the longer it will take at least you know it is doing it properly. And lets face it you can still use the computer when it is doing a scan. You made the right choice. p.s They also make a very good Mobile Phone Protection!!!!
  8. Hey why don't you just put in something like a Narva Blue Power.. These have a Kelvin of 3750 and a Lumen of 2000 so the have 80% more light and 20% whiter Light And unlike the HID's they are 100% ADR approved. I have these in my daily and beleive me the are twice as good as the stock ones and also look great with the white light. Or If you don't mind spending more money (no point on my daily lol) then the Philips Blue Vision is the way to go also ADR approved and have Kelvin of 4000. Now they are no where near as good as the Factory fitted Xenons i had in the GTT but they are legal and trust me they are not far off. If you are interested here is a link to the reasons you should't install HID's in normal headlights. (apart from having driver respect) Link (WHY NOT TO INSTALL AFTERMARKET HID's)
  9. You could send them a email and ask if the will post to Australia... Or Get Import Monster to buy it in for you. Link to Import Monster Good luck let us know how you go hey..
  10. This is true but not that much more 175kw r33, 206kw r34 i think it was... only 35 kw and compair mods. Also i would be looking at getting a Haltech boost solenoid or ebc before you spend the money on another tune as this will help with better boost delivery. Just keep in mind boost is not everything and i am sure the tuners on this site will agree 13psi and a good tune should make good power with the right mods..
  11. i would say he does not know how to tune a car.. and saying more boost will fix it.. pff run away from him.. just another boost junkie!!!! Find a new tuner i would say with these mods and 13psi you should make around 225+ atw kw... When we owned our car I fitted a twin dump pipe, full exhaust, high flow cat, knn filter in stock airbox and made 174.3atw kw from my GTT. added front mount, ebc set at 11psi high boost, splitfires and good tune and made 213.7atw kw (ecu at limits about here for me) So as you can see from my mods and power your tuner has no idea.. Good luck keep us informed P.S. Call Haltech and find out who they recommend to tune their ecu.
  12. hmmm Never heard of them being disabled, and for what reason? Is it realy a vspec? did it have the sensor in the intercooler? You could run a check of the vin on Nissan fast or check if the the sensor is in place or run the diagnostics on the mfd. Diagnostic mode 1) Turn the key to the "OFF" position 2) Push and hold the joystick 3) Turn the key to the "ON" position while still holding down the joystick 4) Release the joystick at least 1 second after the "GT-R logo" appears. 5) Click the joystick 5 times within the next 3 seconds. This will show all the working sensors and if the are in the car and connected they will show up. (note: some need to reach operating temp before they work) Good to see your checking sounds a little dodgy to me...
  13. hey why don't you just spend a few hundred dollars and fit a good boost controller and get a dyno tune. 1. Get a power figure. 2. Will continue to be the same power. 3 Won't blow up etc. (will cost more if that happens) 4. You get 2 or more boost settings. 5 Peace of mind that it is not leaning out etc...... Just an idea.. Good luck..
  14. Stock is best, as above no need to change unless you are making big power.... Externaly vented BOV's are for poses.... In the car noise like the waste gate is all you want... OWW what a sound, I so miss it.. Supercharger whine just not the same..lol
  15. Howdy and welcome to Australia & SAU.. Have fun and keep it safe...
  16. So you are saying you have not got driver airbags?? oww thats bad and very illegal. So solutions. 1. Put the correct steering wheel in the car (best idea) 2. Remove cluster and then remove glob... Good Luck..
  17. STOP!!!! Dont cut the wires, just strip some of the coating off them and splice the wires you wish to tap in around the bare ecu wires and solder them together and tape it up with some good quality electrical tape. Picture care of evilution.co.uk Picture care of legacygarage.com Hope that helps.
  18. Shannons... They only insure for agreed value. Never asked me for evaluation and was insured well over market value.
  19. Most of the FMIC apart from the turnflow units require you to cut a neat hole under the battery box in the same place as the GTR has one. If it is the following item then from the pics it will need a hole cut. Link
  20. A electronic Boost controller will hold a constant boost setting better without fade over the rev range. For peice of mind get a Greedy unit less the $400.00 You will get better performance over the rev range..
  21. SOLD Mixed emotions i feel. Could not be happier with the new owner, true enthusiast so it has gone to a good home.
  22. lol i know the car too.. that would be Andru, the guy i gave the info too on the installation of the MFD when he did it.. But yes true there may be another, but last time i looked he wanted about $40000 for his car and no matter what the mods that is close to GTR price range and lets face it they have a MFD so for that pprice you would want one installed! So i correct myself and say that i have the only GTT priced car with a MFD installed Thanks anyway hey..
