  1. plug leads cant be all bad this 8 sec drag car uses em.
  2. i dont want too sound rude, but i wouldnt have asked if my stagea didnt have it. i am new to hicas, but ive seen enough of them to know what they look like. i have plans to replace all the bushes and shocks. so i thought it would be a good chance to get rid of the hicas at the same time. i guess my question about the vague feeling was a little non discriptive. im more wondering does the hicas add to this vagueness problem?? but thanks for the input anyway
  3. have a look here http://australianmusclecarsales.com.au/muscle_view/93427
  4. i didnt see an answer to an earlier post so i thought u might ask as well. has any1 done this on a stagea?? r they the same units as the 33?? will this take some of that vague feeling out of the back end?? im really new to the whole hicas thing so any help would be great
  5. if that is the case why would they turn on separate to the high beams?? r u sure ur not thinking of spot lights?? they must only turn on with the high beams.
  6. well from what i remember of high school science. as air cools and becomes more dense (or thicker as u put it) its volume/mass decreases. like putting a balloon in the freezer. it shrinks not expands.
  7. really?? i just tried some 18x9 +20 on my rs4 s and they fitted perfectly. but mine is std ride height
  8. agreed. im not sure why ppl put bigger piping on the cold side of the intercooler. with the air now cool, wouldnt bigger piping create a greater pressure drop?? wouldnt this pressure drop affect throtte response?? i would just use 2.5 throughout. keeps it simple
  9. driving lights and fog lights r not the same. fog lights r almost always, a very noticeable shade of yellow. where as driving lights r just normal light colour. any1 thats driven a car with driving lights will tell u how much better the light spread is just in front of the car, slightly off to the sides. i dunno why ud wanna drive around with fog lights on though. it really makes ur car stand out when u drive along and all ppl see is an intense yellow glow
  10. try contract hydraulics in kunda park. alot cheaper than enzed
  11. im not sure i quite grasp what ur saying. i understand more torque increases wear, but how does that conclude a stroker has the same amount of wear as a stock stroke?? if u compared 2 engines of equal peak torque, now im no mechanic, but i would think u would need a higher rpm to make peak torque in the std stroke motor. or at least use more rpm to begin developing torque. wouldnt that mean the std stroke would have more wear from the increased friction/heat etc?? could u explain it a little better, i just dont get it. but on topic, this looks like a killer setup. id love to have that much torque that early in my stag. might actually get its heavy a$$ movin
  12. they gunna do a stagea plugin??
  13. u may consider it sacrillicous, but have u considered a t56 out of a late model commo or mustang?? those things are damn strong
  14. sorry to thread steal, but whats the difference between the 3 midnight purples?? r they different pearls or something??
  15. sale fell through MUST go $1200
  16. im spewin i couldnt make this 1. but come hell or high water i'll make the next 1
  17. doesnt that mean the shock is too long for the spring?? back when i had my ute i had to get shorter shocks for my lowered springs to keep them held in place. i know having the shock that long wont damage anything, but its more a roadworthy issue. my mate got done by the transport office for havin springs that werent held in place properly.
  18. how do u remove the door trim??
  19. how do u get the door card off??

  22. i cant believe these r still 4 sale. if i could fit these on my stagea i woulda been all over them like a fat kid on a cupcake!! an i even got some turbos i coulda swapped ya. oh well that'll teach me 4 pickin a stag over a gtr.
  23. hello all im chasing a set of 18inch rims to fit my stagea. with tyres or without i dont care. but the rims must fit a 1998 series 2 manual(if it matters) stagea WITHOUT spacers. if u have anything pm me and i'll take a look cheers edit: prob shoulda mentioned im in seqld. so pick ups from there only. all others freight is ok. any damaged rims i would like to inspect personally and have them checked out by a tyre fitter. cheers again
  24. yes i bought them as a stock turbo from a wrecker a few yrs ago. while i was having manifolds made up, it was discovered that they were totally shagged. so i had them recored with steel wheels
