i read all of this and all i got was, u wanna build an illegally modified car to race on the street like a moron and making the cops get tougher on modified cars. so why would anyone want to offer helpful advise so u can make our lives harder?? i also vote to move this thread as its not a build up or project.

For Sale 1997 Nissan Stagea RS4. Dark green in colour. Has a manual rwd only conversion (Engine and gearbox from an r33 gtst 4 door). Engine is good, comp tests welcome or can supply for genuinely interested parties. timing belt and water pump done 10,000kms ago as well as rocker gaskets. R34 Gtt vlsd diff and cradle (with adjustable camber arms and hicas lock bar). R34 Gtt brakes all round. BC BR coilovers All Round. Fmic and full 3in turbo back exhaust. R33 gtst front seats. 18x9+15 rims with Achilles atr sport tyres (2 near new done less than 500kms, 2 approx 60%). Body is a little rough. It has some very light hail dents on a small section of the roof (Need to be at the right angle to even see them). Front doors have the normal mirror rust and need replacing. Rear doors are a bit scratched. I have a full set of 4 VGC silver doors i can include for a little extra. I also have a complete ser1 dayz bodykit i can sell with it for extra. Only mechanical issues is a power steering leak. I think its a hose as i cant find it. And it needs a front right wheel bearing. Prob best to do both fronts Same as r33 gtr, but not an expensive part. Can give u the name of the place that sells them. Rear wheel bearings were done approx 12 months ago. rego expires in a few weeks so selling UNREGISTERED. $4500ono. Can do cheaper if you BYO wheels. a quick look around what front cuts are sitting at ichiban should give us all some clues.

most probably the rubber stopper for the switch has perished. this has happened a few times lately with the s1's i know of (probably the QLD heat and age of the rubber). easy replacement as they are off the shelf from nissan. i can check it out for u if u want Hugh.

my ser1 is the stock auto ecu running permanent rwd and manual. no probs at all.

are u willing to separate the ecu loom??

I have seen a bonnet like that on Yahoo. so the kit may have at least been copied

I bought it for a 30 conversion but went a different way. it has the complete valve train including cams. it has Tomei cam gears as well. it has cam covers but no front or coil cover. that wandering rear end sounds exactly like mine. it was flogged out cradle bushes. I mean really flogged out. a set of nolathane bushes fixed it. mine was stock ride height too.

pods wont change anything. a good induction pipe will tho. I got a silicon 1 on mine with a stock airbox and it makes plenty of noise
