Crank collars are for rb30 and r32 motors. Stagea's don't need them. It's built into the later model stuff

Up for sale is our R33 4 door gtst. It has some very light damage to the rad support but otherwise its straight. It is a rolling shell so theres no motor, gearbox or brakes. It does have a complete rear end, and full interior. This could very easily be a running car with just a front cut, a bonnet, headlights and a bumper. I'M NOT PARTING THIS CAR OUT. if u want parts buy it and part it out yourself. Located in brisbane. Pm me if ur interested. Pics up soon

Depends on a lot of factors, but allow $3k as a bare minimum. I can't see u getting everything u need for any less. The more new parts u use the dearer it gets. There's a long ass thread about it. Have a search.

Forget it mate. They all turned out like shit. Many hrs spent bogging and sanding to get them to look good and they are still wavey. It just about works out cheaper to fill the gap in steel and repaint the car.

R u sure its put on correctly?? I had a car yrs ago (not a stagea) that was leaking out of the converter. Turned out it wasn't on properly.

I got an R33 4 door roller I'm getting rid of. Light front impact to rad support but easily repairable. Full interior in vgc. No engine gearbox or brakes. Pm me if u want pics.

i think Darrinspencer tried out an R34 console and it wouldnt fit. have a search i remember it being discussed at length.

i havent been within 100m of a dealership since i bought my first stagea 4-5yrs ago. chatting with a mate yesterday apparently car yards are desperate to sell now days. most of them offering 0% interest finance. he just bought a new toyota at 0% which is a huge saving over a bank. live and learn. its hardly 1 bad experience. i chose to only mention the very worst account. there has been dozens more where dealers are taking a very large profit on an accessory. which i think is unacceptable given the profit they would already make on the new car. there has been 1 or 2 occasions where the prices where reasonable, but its rather rare. i always tell ppl to price up accessories aftermarket before they go to buy a new car as the savings can be significant. LOL gold!

some of the things idiots say are astounding. those are gold. the best i ever had was a guy ask if i would get a car (91 laser) resprayed for him at no extra charge (sale price $3K) i had a guy ask if he paid a deposit on my holden ute if he could take it for the whole weekend to see if he liked it. yeah sure cos i loan out cars im selling to total strangers so they can move house. i was selling a turbo kit and had a guy want to buy just the turbo. the kicker was he wanted to pay for it in promised paint jobs (he wasnt a business just some guy ive never heard of). oh man im so sick of these txts. i always respond with "price is clearly stated". one occasion had a guy say "I can get it cheaper elsewhere" to which i said "buy it there then" then he said "just sell it to me for $200"(worth $400 but i was selling for $300) at this point i stopped responding. never got why anyone would accept trade value. considering the peanuts they offer for them and then the mark up put on trade ins when they sell em. maybe where u worked. every dealership ive ever looked in was willing to knock off a bit extra for cash and thats after screwing them down on the price to the point they would say "thats the best i can do" yep that happend to a mate of mine. got them to write a lower price so he could pay less stamp duty then the insurance company would only cover it for the lower amount (about $5k less than its actual value). yes dealerships make a killing off finance and extras. i dont know how u can talk ppl into your ridiculous 20+% interest rate. a dealer tried to charge my mother $1000 for window tinting. had i not been there she would of paid it, but i told them to shove it. then took the car to the same place they get it done, cost $350.as for selling cars privately, ive heard that dealer BS about putting it on the side of the rd for 6 months. i was told that by a dealer when he offered me half the cars market value. less than a week later i'd sold the car myself at full market value.

coil cover sold pending payment. while its the holidays i can do postage (at your cost) for anyone interstate. but be quick cos once im back at work this will stop. but before anyone asks couriers arent cheap. prob looking around $80-100 going off the last lot of quotes i got.
