Hi, The Following are for sale due to my recent upgrades: R34 N1 Turbos with actuators, part number 707160-7 on the exhaust housing and confirmed with garrett http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbobygarre...0R_707160_7.htm Less than 10,000km, absolutely no shaft play at all. stock fuel setup only supported 360hp at the wheels so it was only on one bar boost for the time that it was installed. 1800 or nearest offer. The photos were taken as it was taken out. Lighting and camera could be better but oh well, its an iphone. Rb26 Stock 440cc injectors, working perfectly, 300. Dump Pipes, being told they are non stock items. It weighs less to me than my tomei expreme cast dump pipes and still keeps the factory heat shield (also included) so no ceramic coating will be required, 150. Picture below shows one as the other is still attached to the turbo. This one was taken off so I could have a good look at the dumps. Front Pipe, unknown aftermarket item and is not an ebay copy. 100. Shown in the first photo. Trust air filters, brand new came with my full induction kit as I have decided to use the apexi filters. 150 Autech Style catch can, currently 195 at just jap, 100 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/JJ...nt-t166910.html Stock Fuel Pump comes with everything needed, just slot in the craddle, plug her in and off you go, good condition, 70 Stock AFMs, using a map sensor setup so no longer required, 70 All the cold side pipes/rubbers were replaced with trust pipes so if you need anything out of the original setup, let me know.

Yeah, I know. The world doesn't revolve around me even if I think it should be Jokes aside, my car won't be done until next week as there were other cars that were pushed back one day because of mine, plus a few other other cars that were already scheduled for the week. He said that it took a whole day for the first map, and it may take another day for the second. The third day would more than likely be final checks in the morning and any final touch ups. I do like the idea of things done properly, so I had given him the go ahead. The one hour autotune that the previous owner went through didn't work out too well at all.

After speaking to the workshop, they have spent one full day on the dyno getting the tps to something 4d map done. They'll need to spend anther day to get the map sensor to rpm map setup. The reason it needs to be this extensive(apart from the tuner being a perfectionist and is the first time on a gtr, he had previously done one on an evo which didn't have the ITB setup) is because there is only one map sensor in factory ITB setup. Hence the reason why he was bagging it because it took longer than he had anticipated as well. If it had two map sensors like the power fc or if I was running an aftermarket plenum, then the tps map can be disabled and just do the map sensor to rpm. I had explained to him that I need the other functions and he agrees that this is the best package(bar the need of CDI in the future due to Vipec's ignition method of wasted spark). He wasn't quite sure what my requirements were so he bagged the product for what he thought my requirements should be. I doubt that he'd take it as bagging as its as it happened and we both agreed on the outcome. He realises that he should have tried to mount the accusump where I told him to before telling me that it wouldn't fit. He also knows that I was annoyed because of it so we have an understanding there. Initially I had thought that if he was bagging the vipec coz its too hard since that was all he said on the phone prior to speaking to him again. At that stage, I was thinking maybe I can fly you over here to do it since there weren't any other options for the Vipec in WA if I didn't want Auto tune, I've been following your threads on the e85 hence the thought. Thank you for belittling me I guess. In response to your comment, I would be complaining too if he was cutting my balls out when I am there for a vasectomy, same result but definitely not what I had wanted.. Actually it wouldn't even get to that stage, if he was pushing to cut my balls off before the operation, I would just tell to cut his own balls if he loves them so much.

What's it for mate?
-
I think he is learning the system as he goes. and yes... I'll speak to the workshop tomorrow to clarify what I would be in for... As for the bagging... I thought I was being really subjective, slightly annoyed but nowhere close to obscene, explicit languages etc What happened to the customer that was sued successfully? eat humble pie and pay even more?
-
That's good. We are on the same page then as I do see your point. btw, maybe you can edit the quoting in your last post and do me a favour so I wouldn't get so shot...
-
But I didn't lie or exaggerate? It happened exactly like that and we have agreed on the mounting position and to disagree on the functionality of the accusump. I am not bagging the work or saying they are shit. If anything, I already said that I would like to see how it goes and is paying for the service.. Are you saying that you would be offended which means your duty of care of the customer's vehicle will drop below professional levels?
-
That's where the previous owner had his tuning done by glen, and they did the job I mentioned before... vaccum line shared for fuel reg and boost solenoid.. I can't believe they let the car out of the shop..
-
Lol, I'll give the the tuner the benefit of the doubt as he is considered the best we have here in WA. In addition to this, the owner kept on pressuring me not to install the accusump telling me there is no place to put it (reasons like it would be the lowest point of the car etc) and there would be absolutely no benefit in fitting it.. I went in to the workshop, tell him to put the hoist up, grab the canister and a long straight ruler and put it straight into a position just slightly forward of the radiator and poooft, the lowest point of the car is the sub frame.. This is before the abflug front diffusor is to be fitted and we all know that lowers the front by about an inch and a half... So I said, just fab some brackets and I'll install it myself which isn't out of my league, I just don't have the tools to fab those brackets and insurance is paying for most of the fitting at this stage.
-
Cheers mate, I'll see how it goes. The owner of the workshop has been bagging the crap out of it because its got too many functions. Ironic thing is, I need some of those functions as I'll turn the car into a full track car in the next few years. bleh, set back after set back..
-
That is lumpy..
-
Hey mate, Who did the tuning for you?
-
well, he tuned the car for the previous owner teeing off the fuel reg vaccum line to control the boost solenoid. O, one of the vaccum line to the hks ssq BOVs wasn't even connected. So umm, I am very very reluctant to use him.

I would like to ask some questions regarding the Vipec ecu. There is an unit installed in my car already and I've recently upgraded all turbo related items, fairly run of the mill centering around the GT2530s and other necessary supporting mods. However, I've just been told that it will take another two days to tune even after they've spent 1 day on it. It doesn't make much sense to me that it would be this time consuming on such a tame setup. My understanding from what the workshop owner said was that it's too hard for them to tune it, ie. something about 5d maps and having to guess boost level, change one parameter, then needs to change another parameter because it has been changed automatically etc... makes fu*k all sense to me. The worst thing is, this is at probably one of the most reputable workshop in WA. The thing is, it would be ok if it's like this the first time. My plans with the car is to learn the car at this level, then add e85, then when the engine dies do the rb30... So I asked how it would take for the next time I need to tune the car, and he said pbly another 3 days... and it would not be as good as a 4 hour job with a power fc. My question is, what was it like for you? I am aware that there is a lot more going on in other people's car so it would be more time consuming? What do you guys suggest in this situation? Or do I just bite the bullet and change to the power fc setup (effectively downgrading the ecu)?

Starting to wonder if a nice misinformed kid is actually better than a retard with an attitude problem. The fulli sik excel or the NA GTR..... I hope my kid doesn't turn out like the either of the two. I'd pbly hang myself..

It doesn't look like you'll listen to good advices so do what you like I guess. Modification won't be cheap and is NEVER CHEAP even if you do the work your self. So your cheap factor is out. As for being an attention grabbing excel and the public hate towards stereotypical drivers of such excel, you will have people doing things to it so you will need to watch it for sure. btw, why didn't you pick up an Suzuki Swift GTI? That thing will rip an asshole out of an excel and there are aftermarket support such as body kits, turbo kits, full built bottom ends etc. Xspeed just put a power fc in one and it made ~210hp, which is double of the factory 115hp all in a car that weighs 700-800kgs... A friend of mine was like you... then he spent 15k on it, it looked seriously tacky and the power was an improvement over standard, but that was all. He tried to sell it for 15k..... then 10k...then 8k..... then turned it back to stock spending another 4k getting rid of the widebody and repaint(cheap shit job) and sold it for 5.5k... Total investment: car = -9k Modification =-15k Turn back to stock = 4k car sale = +5.5k Total = -22.5k and nothing to show for it except the roller coaster ride in his ego, ie. he thought he was awesome, reality bit him real hard when he tried to sell the car. So, please save your money and buy an r32 gtr or r33 gtr with that 22.5k you would have saved if you didn't wasted on the excel.

The Trust Oil Pump is currently worth +1500, excluding customs tax and shipping from Japan. Cheaper than any retail price in Australia from what I've seen too! A word of note to low ballers, please buy the standard pump if you intend on making ridiculous offers. It is not a second hand item so please make offers based on a brand new item.

4 Defi Gauges & Control Unit
s2d4 replied to reaper's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I had a quick look on the net. They are the same. Can you point me to the place where you got the sensors? Sounds like a really good price, wonder they have good price on everything else too -
4 Defi Gauges & Control Unit
s2d4 replied to reaper's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I have spare sensors for defi link bf series oil temp, oil pressure. Some knob stole the gauges out of my car so I had to buy all the gauges again. Not sure if they are the same ones as required for this kit. Maybe someone can clarify this one. If its the same then my spare sensors would complete reaper's setup.
