  1. Hi everyone, back on here, I actually have another acount now but got access back to this one. I might pass this account into the new owner of this car. Mad an update on this car, it made just over 300awkw when tuned at CRD on 20psi but possible head float, so I ran it at 18psi and made, from memory about 290awkw. The thing was a jet, loved it, but it still needed more money, I got a quote to do a full proper build through CRD, but then got an offer on the car so decided to let it go. I know the new owner so I see the car regularly but it's been off the road for a long time now. New owner enjoyed it for awhile but then decided he wanted more power so gave me a call, we went down to CRD and booked the car in for a full build. Car got an r34 crank, nitto rods, pistons and oil pump, metal gasket kit, custom extended sump with baffles, head for light porting and full service with everything new including Tomei cams. All the bolt on parts remained, while the engine was out it was also fitted with a twin plate clutch. Motor is now bullet proof,

  3. Mate thats it, mine looks slightly different but thats probably because mines an R32 gtr, but its the same problem. Does anyone know what the cause is or how to fix it?
  4. I have checked the oil, and the level is on the max line, I am thinking that it either needs to be bleed or there is a problem with the pump, I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows what it is?

I have an R32 GTR, I have recently noticed that when the car is running there is a clicking sould from the rear of the car, when this click happens the volts drop slightly, I removed the boot trimming and found that the clicking sound is comming from a relay which is mounted near the rear boot latch on the left side. I unpluged the wireing from the relay and the clicking stopped, but the 4WD light came on , so the 4wd was disabled. Has anyone had this problem? or does anyone know why this is happening. The 4wd seems to be working fine , there is fluid in the resiviour for the 4wd. Could there be a problem with the 4wd pump or does the system maybe need to be blead?

  10. Just to update, air flow metres are sold, intercooler is sold, pending payment.
  11. Boost controller was in full working order when removed from car, has since been kept wrapped and protected. SO should be in full working order, these are pretty basic items, cant imagine having any problems with them, also comes with red boost switch. The switch changes from 1st setting to second setting, so yes it is a duel stage item. Thanks.

  13. Hi, just selling a range of parts to suit an R32 GTR, these parts were on the car which made 240awkw with this set up. I have 2 x T25 turbos (I think) specs of the turbos are, M24 Garrett, 0.53 inlet and 0.48 on the exhaust side The number on the id plate of the turbos read T702987-3 Turbos have done about 30,000k one has slight shaft movement and the other has virtually none. Both spin freely and were in perect working order when removed from car, only changed due to upgrade. I was told that these turbos are the standard item fitted to the R34GTR's. I can tell you that 240kwatw is about all you will get out of these turbos, they have vertually no lag and are very strong through the midrange, but they do run out of steem up top. By about 6000rpm in third gear I noticed the power flatten out. Car ran mid 12s with these turbos. They are a good upgrade from the standard 32/33 gtr turbos as they are steel wheel, not ceramic so they wont break. After $400ono . Also have standard R32 GTR intercooler $250ono . Turbosmart 2 stage boost controller $80ono . Standard R32 GTR injectors and fuel pressure regulator. Make an offer? Injectors need service. . 8 x standard GTR coil packs. Make an offer? The two extra came with the car when I bought it, the origional 6, at least one is faulty, car had a miss with these fitted, dont know if there is a way you can check to see which ones are good. . R32 GTR Mines tuned ECU $200ono . EMS ECU with wireing harness, this was piggybacked to the origional ECU in my car. This is an old model EMS but might be useful to someone, $250ono . Origional GTR intercooler pipeing as shown in pics, $40 . Apexi pod filters attached to standard air flow metres. $100 Air flow metres appear in good nick dont know how to check them and they were never functional in my car as it always ran map sensors in the time I have owned it. . Cusco front strut brace, $60 . Blitz to atmosphere BOV with custom made (looks abit dodgy but works) 2in adaptor. $80ono. . Items are located at Minchinbury, in Sydneys west, Im a stones throw from WSID. Im happy to post the smaller items at the buyer expense, the larger ones might be too expensive but Im happy to try and get a price for you. .   16. Mate I got a mines tuned ECU which is out of my R32 GTR if your interested? Im in Sydney. I have a bunch of parts but havnt decided what I will be doing with them. Let me know if you want the ecu and we might be able to work something out. cheers and goodluck

Hi all, havent posted in a while, anyway finally finished my slight mods to my R32 GTR, 28-60R-5 turbos, 800cc sard injectors, power FC dejetro, blitz DSBC, Trust intercooler, oil cooler, Tomei cam gears, etc etc... Had it tuned at CRD the other day, made 308awkw on 20psi boost. Played around with an F6 Typhoon the other night, seemed to have it covered, not sure how much work he had done to the car, had the numberplates "BEWARE" we were mucking around from rolling starts from about 80k, still managed to pull away slightly. Also it should be noted that I run the car on 18psi not 20psi, and it made about 294awkw at 18psi. . Anyway like I said, car is tuned and going great, Im happy and ready to go to WSID to see what it will do. Did a practice launch to see how it would go??? and?? . The clutch gave way and slipped! F#$K! . Now, Im running a single plate ceramic clutch, which I thought would be up to the task, however this clutch was in the car when I bought it so I dont know how old it is. I had the clutch checked about 6 months ago and was told it is still in good nick (by a clutch specialist). Went back there the other day and was told the clutch is stuffed. So one dump with 300awkw and the clutch is gone! obviously all the dyno work didnt help. . So now I need a new clutch and it doesnt stop there, the other day I noticed my diff is now whigning, went to a diff specialist, the crown gear is worn, he said it wont break, But will progressively get louder. AND now I have also noticed that the ATTESA pump seems to be playing up. . So any way when I get some things sorted I will hopefully make it to the track and see what it will do! . Ill post up the dyno graph when I can upoad it.

My GTR runs a single pplate ceramic clutch, just been modded and tuned and now makes 308awkw, 1st dump and the clutch shit it self and slipped, so you can imagine what it would have done to a standard clutch. now im up for at least a twin plate. With that sort of power I would talk to someone in the know though before you make the selection. You can drive around with that power and a standard clutch, just done give it to hard a time, cause it wont last. (As I found out). Goodluck

I own a GTR and it is a great car to drive, but maintanance is a big issue, with an R32 you will probably get small problems as they are getting old now, I know mine is an R32 and as much as I love it, it gives me the shits alot of the time. If your driving through twistied you will love the GTR as it is absolutly rewarding through the bends. But to give you some sort of idea, taking it easy, you wont get much more then 400km a tank, and using 98 octane fuel with todays prices you are looking about $100 a tank. If you start to thrash it abit, (which you will) you wont see more then 300km a tank. Servicing will be about the same for both cars, just keep the oil fresh and it should be fine. It is your descision, I am only commenting on the GTR, I have never owned a GTST so I dont know what they are like. But if you ever decide to mod it, then just empty your accounts and get a large loan! Goodluck!
