  1. Can't wait for another cruise. But the best time for me is Saturday day or night. Sunday have to work, but if it is going to be a sick cruise, I'll pull a sicky...
  2. If they can do that with the Wolf3D, why can't they do the same with the Apexi and the HKS. Thanks too Gtst, at least now I know there is anothe ECU out there that can take the auto ecu as well. Now sorry to whore your tread craz0, but with the extra power etc. Will you also need something to make the auto last? Like a bigger transmission cooler or strenghen the auto?
  3. Man sound like all you guys had alot of fun. I'm regretting it even more now that I couldn't come. Well maybe next time. What exactly happen at the Hungry Jack??
  4. I used to wash my car once, twice a week. That is until the water restriction came in. Now about once every 2 week. My car is Black and every little spec of dust and water spec can be seen. The funny thing is my outside is damn clean but my inside is pretty messy hehe.
  5. I have been told that Apexi PFC doesn't work with auto Skyline. But than again I read in another tread that this guy had it in his auto Skyline as well and was working fine. How did you get the Apexi PFC to communicate with the auto ecu? If it does work, does that also mean the HKS F-con should work to than?? VERY INTERESTING.
  6. I have read up on the Buddy Club on Takakaira and the impression I got the automatic function on it is similar to our POWER button. I think it will hold gear for longer and down shift quicker?!?! Craz0 I was thinking about the same thing about getting a SAFC2 to adjust the fuel curve and leave it at that. But I still think that the E-manage will be better than the SAFC. The SAFC only have like 12 tuning points whereas the E-manage have alot more than that if tune with a laptop and harness. If you think about it an SAFC2 at the moment cost around $500 to $700 depending on where you get one and the E-manage cost around $700. After tuning and installation you are only looking at about 100 - 200 bucks difference. For that reason that is why i'm still sticking with the E-manage. And if someone can figure out the ignition problem it will even be a bonus. If you are thinking about getting the ACVR as well, why not get the E-01?! This way if you have the E-Manage and he E-01 you can boost your Skyline as well be able to tune it (fuel curve) using the E-01. Go to the Vic forum and there is a tread there on 'What is E-manage'. You can find out more info there. That's what I would do, but I'm no car mechanic hehe. Cheers
  7. Craz0 i'm in the same boat. Have done a little bit of research and talked to Dr Drift here in Melb from BMT. The only think I can think of beside the full house Motech is the E-manage. The only problem with this is that the ignition harness for some reason doesn't response to the auto ecu. Guys at BMT are still working on it to see if they can figure it out. Something to do with signals interference. I'm not sure if Link comp can take care of the auto ecu but I was told by my mechanic that it can support it. Unichip could also be a possibility. But at the moment I'm looking at the E-manage as it is the cheapest out of them all. Cheers

    Mag Wheel Shops

Maybe you should check out The Tyre Factory. They advertise that they will beat their competitors by 10%, that is if they stock them. Don't know how they work the 10% thing, but that is what i saw in the trading post. Might want to give them a try and in that case of the $5900 package you can save $500 bucks.
  10. I got one, Area: Burwood East Location: Coming up from Middleborough Rd over Burwood Hwy. Because of the trams track the road goes up and down like speed humps. Speeding in low cars will cause damage. Area: Malvern Location: On Malvern Rd, intersection with Orrong. Few large pot holes between trams tracks. Take the left lane and cut back across as there are usually parked cars.
  11. Rob that's bad luck mate. I didn't even see the camera so I'm hoping that I don't get one sent to me. I already got one for the bloody city link. Forgot to pay the toll. I had one of those before 64ks in the 60 zones. 1k less and you would of been sweet.
  12. Thanks for the info wrxhoon. I'll try to find the post. Cheers
  13. Hi guys This might be a really stupid question, but I got to find out as my oil pressure is playing up. I recently went on a pretty hard cruise, and the day after my oil pressure was really low. Like in between 0 and 2 (idling). Normally it will be at around 2 and 4 when cruising. It went away for a few day and now it is back again. I'm pretty sure it is not the gauge being faulty, cause if it is the car will feel normal even if the gauge indicate low. But I can actually feel something different when it is low! In fact it idles even smoother. I changed my oil before the cruise and I rechecked its level and it is fine. I don't even know really what does the oil pressure do?! I assuming that its measure the pressure of the oil inside the engine??!! So what can cause the oil pressure to be so low?? I have been using 5-30w oil for a while now and all the other time it was fine, I also change my oil every 5000 ks. Is there something I can check to find out what is wrong. My car is not due for a service in another 5000ks and I don't really have the time to take it in to the workshop yet. So any help or advice from here would be great. Cheers Skylineakt
  14. Oh man can't take this Sunday off work, already took last week off for the cruise. DAMN!! Would be good, the movie looks sick in the previews and it is for free DAMN again... Well hope you guys have a good night and enjoy the movie. Cheers
  15. haha yeah I had the same idea too Predator. Spend the money on the power and looks later. But then just couldn't resist changing the standard rims. The more I looked at it, the more I didn't like it. Oh well. Just image with the $2k+ I spend to the rims, I could of have new f/m intercooler and an e-manage. Damn!! Don't make me think about it now, especially after the cruise when I was struggling to keep up. Well at least my car looks better with the rims... I think my car is fine now with the oil pressure issue. But I'm weird feelings about my suspension now. *sight*.. See now if I spend $1.5K+ on suspension, with that money I could get an intercooler or the e-manage. So more power?!? or better handling?!? Decisions, decisions. Oh and that is if I win Tatts tomorrow or I wouldn't be getting nothing. hehe.
  16. Dan got the photos developed but they came out really bad man!! Blame it on at your work haha. Took it there and their machine stuffed up, had to wait for a while, printed the wrong size and the colour are really dull. The gave me 2 copies though, you can have the other set if you want. But nothing flashy or pro. Guys the GOR was great fun, but some bit was like a race just to keep up hehe. I guess that is what happy when there is open straight road with 20 odd Skylines haha. Maybe the next cruise should be a nice relaxing one not too far. Something to show off our cars hehe. Anyone for a Chapel St Cruise haha j/k. 20 cars go in 5 cars come out, the rest CANARY hehe.
  17. zzz my g'friend drives a Lancer and she loves driving my R33 GTS-T. She loves the power, the feel, basically everything. And it is an auto, so make it easier to drive. The problem she finds is that it is a bit hard to park. Been such a big car and all. My problem is that the rear end sometime just don't obey, especially in the wet hehe. I think you will find that head and leg room in a R33 is better than a R32. Insurance wise I reckon you are looking at $2k or maybe less because of your age. Cheers
  18. Like you said R31, it is good to know what the limit of the car is and what's wrong with it if pushed hard. I'll go for another cruise again, no probs hehe My oil pressure seem to be find now and is it sitting at 2 when idling and 4 when cruising. Will still keep an eye on it, but it seem to drive fine.
  19. Sweet memories... hehe. I was a f%#king mad day out. Great weather, Great Road, Great Cars, what else could you ask for. I'm still getting my photos developed hehe. Anyone else any photos? Or short clips?
  20. Sorry stupid questions but Is it a major problem that the oil pressure is so low? I though the compression test if for the cyclinders etc?!?! I just went for a drive again and it seems normal again. Might have to wait till out the week and see what happens.
  21. Hey Rob Got the same problems as you mate, and now my left hand side suspensions sound a bit suss after the cruise. I'm not expert in handling, but I have been looking around for some new suspensions part. I was thinking about Lowered King Springs on stock susp. but got mix reaction from different people. Some said it was really bad, some said it improved handling. I also looked at some strut bar. This meant to help a fair bit as well, saw some pretty cheap $89 - $100 but no brand. There is some guy near Springvale which have some second had strut bar. Will check it out some time later. Whiteline also have a fair bit of bits and piece for our car that improve the handling. Depends on how much you want to spend, I guess. Like you I'm not looking at spending much as well, trying to save up for an e-manage hehe. And also don't forget our cars are AUTO haha Aaron
  22. One area was bad through the Otway. 40ks rough surface. I think I did the most damage there as well. After that it felt really float flying at the straights. Pretty scary actually hehe
  23. Yeah same thing with the oil rs73. Find it sitting below 2 when idling and I just changed the oil on Saturday too. Usually it is up at about 2 and 4 when cruising. And my left suspesion sound a bit suss. Let me know if you find anything with the oil pressusre issue. Cheers
  24. haha everyone lets get the drift wing! Than we all can be as fast as JET. The wings do look good, than you wouldn't have the two horns sticking out if you decide to get a GT wing as well!! hehe
  25. Got mine, thanks James.
