  1. There was these other guys that had something similar at Springvale. Not sure what the shop call but they were at the AutoSalon as well this year. They even had some with graphics like flames etc. But not sure if they got it for Skylines.
  2. That's pretty good with 146 rwkw. But just one question to all you guys here that has had their car dyno. I have been reading some other threads on this forum and it has come to my attention that not all Dyno has the same reading. Like your car might be 146 rwkw on this dyno but on someone else it might be more or less. If this is so, how can we really compare our difference in kw output as we all would have dyno our cars on different machine? See that is what I don't really get, isn't there like a standard for these dyno machine so that even if they are set different, on a special mode it would be relatively the same standard as the next machine. Or is that what the 'Shoot-out mode' is for? It is just weird and don't really make much sense to me. As I soon will want to dyno my car but whether how accurate it is, that is my question.
  3. What does that do? Does R33 has something similar?? I looking for some cheap mods too hehe
  4. Those Black Racing wheels looks sick. I was thinking of getting them when I purchased my wheels. Especially the bronze ones. But how light are they compare to the P1s?? Is there a big difference between the 18 inches and the 17 inches? Like beside the looks and the size, 18 inches rubbers is going to cost you more and I got told 17 inches can make accelation a bit quicker. Damn I can't believe P1 Racing II drop so much in price!! I should of waited a bit longer!! Either ways I think the B/Racing and the P1s looks good. Have you seen what B/Racing rims will look like on a R33? I think the B/Racing looks a bit like the Buddy Club P1 QF. www.wheelspecs.com/specs/wheelbrands/211

  8. Hey Robo, nice power gain mate. Your car must feel better now. Just a silly question tho, if your car was originally running rich, by upping the boost wouldn't it pump in more air and making it a bit leaner??
  9. Yeah that looks sweet!! Even with our Blk Skyline it would still looks good!! hehe See the scoop/cut on the right hand side above the air filter?? That's what I'm talking about. Is it possible to have that cut in and mended without changing the whole bonnet??
  10. That's cool rs7, just come down and have a drive. I just spoke to the guys at AustKart today and they can fit us in at 6.00pm on Sat 1st Nov. The race will be split up into 2 races due to the amount of people. Each race going for about 30 mins for a 40 lapper, so it is going to cost $48 per person. I have give them a call back tomorrow to confirm everything.
  11. Yeah pretty cool har?? Great publicity for the SAU & R31 Club!!
  12. Ok guys it is official now!! The Go-Kart day is going to be next week on the Nov 1st Saturday and the VENUE IS!!!!! PORT MELBOURNE.. hehe The poll has been going for a while now and it seems that more people prefer AustKart at Port Melbourne. Will make the booking sometime today to oragnise a time for us to squeeze in. I know there is the Dyno thing as well at Brooklyn on this day so most likely the Go-Kart event will be sometime in the afternoon say about 5 pm and than maybe after we all can go for a bite and have a small meeting with Jamezilla in regards to the SAU offical club. And since we are in South Melb, I guess the KEG at Albert Park seems like the best choice so far. Keep posted to the finer details, will be up soon.

  14. I don't think the HICAS is like those kind of 4 wheel steering. You are thinking something like the old Prelude with the 4ws. Those type of 4ws are for parkings and the rear wheels turns marginally. The HICAS 4ws only shift when you are actually turning corner while travelling. I guess it makes turning a bit easier, but some people don't like it and rather lock it up for track.
  15. Hey Dan You got a pic of the CAI vent that JMS sells?? Can't seem to find it on their website. Lets go halvies, one each?!? hehe
  16. Not sure if I can make it. I got to work Sunday afternoon. But if it is central will propably come for a few hours. But anyway I will see some of you guys on Nov 1st right!! GO-KART DAY!!
  17. Yeah man, those Nismo rims are damn nice. Wish I had about $2k for each rims!! Just make sure if you are going for bronze it is the duller bronze. You don't really want it coming out gold. My rims was that colour when I brought it but in regards to what you mention about the colour of the steel eg. bronze or charcoal, I think they are all colour coated. Like my one after some scratches seem white underneath. I hope I didn't get plastic rims!! hehe
  18. Ok I think the R34 vents I was thinking off is actually a heat vent, venting off the heat from the engine and not a CAI vent. But it is the same vent but facing in the opposite direction. Like the 180sx headlight vent on the left hand side of the car. Will it be a big job for them to mend one in?? Like with the paint etc??
  19. So does that mean the floating hat can be use with any disc or does it have to be the same brand. That is like Apexi floating hat can't be use with Endless discs?? OR are they universal fit?
  20. Most autometer a/f gauges don't have a backlight except for the Cobalt series. They have a blue glow backlight that you can see the measurements at night. Autometer a/f gauges uses some theoritical calculation to measure the a/f. But as it says in the manual there is never a perfect measurement just theory. I got one too, but got is as a present so can't complain and it looks good at night!! hehe
  21. Charcoal or bronze looks sick with a Blk Skyline. I remember seen one of of my mates rims colour coated bronze and it looks great. I not sure about the actuall colour being charcoal or bronze. My P1 (charcoal) has a small scatch and it seems like white underneath. Your option 2 looks like it is Shadow Chrome. That is another option, they look pretty cool too. Just to give you an idea.
  22. Yeah, yeah. That's what I'm talking about. The little vent that you see on the eye lights of the 180sx. Like the ones on JMS 180 drift car. I want something similar to that but cutting into the bonnet to get some cold air. I just think that it looks cleaner than the scoop. I don't think cutting the hole is the hard part, but getting the extra inverted vent to blend in with the pain/bonnet. Anyone has any idea?!?
  23. Man, that is like the 3rd or 4th break in or car damage we have on this forum within a month. Sorry to hear it Jamezilla. Maybe the little punks got you CB hooked up and playing with it. Maybe you could some how jump on to the channel and catch the little f&6kers!! Than do a satelite thingy and track them down with you balls itchy foot!! AND TEACH THESE LITTLE SCUMBAG A LESSON.
  24. Yeah I agree that maybe a dog for a 3 years old is a bit unpredictable. The dog might be well train and stuff but watch out for the kid with the swinging dog above his head. hehe Jack Russells are cool dogs but they can get a bit hypo don't you think.
  25. Hi Guys, Just want to know what is the advantage of having floating hat on the disc brakes? They seem more expensive and I was reading something the other day that you can keep them and just swap the disc. Beside looking good and the colours what else do they do?? Can you actually keep them when you change the brake discs??
