  1. Very nice. Be sure to dropby the car wash! I'll see you guys there tonight.
  2. school holidays?
  3. Get rid of it once you get a job. It'll only make your CV look good and thats about it. Unless your graduate program is structured for you to attain the CPEng, otherwise, I would suggest not having it once you've got a job and you dont need it. The membership fee just keeps going up every yr starting from 1st yr grad 70ish, 2nd yr 100ish 3rd... (from memory)
  4. Baskin Robin
  5. 7?!?!?!??! No way you're gonna reach Chapel Hill by 7:30 at speed limit!
  6. Good idea. I'd said it'll be better for the engine as well.
  7. Good choice.
  8. Hey Dan whats your work email if you have any. The office computer is gay without msn.
  9. I believe in QLD whats changed is you will require CPEng to apply for RPEQ. So technically you still cant sign off drawings with CPEng, you will still need RPEQ. RPEQ from what I understand is experience based unlike CPEng which you can just get within 3yrs after graduation with proper guidance/documentation (or thats what a lot of "graduate program" offer). I just find it stupid to pay like 600bucks a year for the freaking membership (CPEng) if you have no use for it. Most companies which require you to have CPEng will pay for it, if thats the case maybe you should considering applying for it. Like any profession, having such accreditation will definately help in a way. Look at accountants, once they get their CPA, their wage goes up by a fair bit. I'm not saying its a guarantee increment but having accreditation will only do you good IF you need them. Same thing with higher qualifications, a fresh master grad will get the same pay as a fresh degree grad, its all experience depend (for most people anyway, not talking about the deans etc).
  10. You guys are loaded! I think he listed the whole list on the gold coast thread. Here, http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/He...html&st=120
  11. Yea for that kinda price it should be metal. Give Dan a call, I'm sure he'll be able to hook you up with something good. www.erd.com.au
  12. Very well recommended. Just look at the traders rating next time. I'm sure with that many positive comments you cant go wrong. Excellent communication and friendly/helpful.
  13. Man you whores are everywhere nowadays...
  14. Bring the 180 for delivery! Oh! Put some dominos sticks on while you're at it too!
  15. Well it'll be even better if they have some unique number plate like 888 or some shit. Cop wouldnt even wanna touch them. The general understanding in Malaysia is if you're that rich and up there, chance of you knowing high ranked cops are quite high. So meaning the small fries wouldnt even dare to touch you or risk losing their job for giving you a fine. IN any case, even if you DO get a fine you could probably buy your way out anyway. Thats the explanation I got from my KL cousin.
  16. Haha.. I'm asking him to take it if he's really gonna gut the shit outta any brand new cat. No point paying 170 for a new 1 when you're not gonna use it for what its intended for.
  17. Hahaha I knew you were gonna post here!
  18. I heard Volvo's chassis or the metal used for the car is VERY strong, as in very solid. Is that true?
  19. Very nice. You will definately hit that target of yours at 18psi. Mines at 16psi and doing 340awhp which potential fuel problem and restriction. With your build you shouldnt have any of those problems I see.
  20. Yea cat can be fitted damn easily (even idiots like me can do it), if they dont require welding. Cant you say you hit a speed bump and didnt know it was gutted?
  21. I'm sure thats the risk he'll have to take if he wants a gutted 1. Everyone knows the penality for not having 1 (all I remembered was some ridicules fine at least 5k or more) but yes he did say he want a gutted cat. In any case I've posted a topic on which cat to use and what I've got recommended is MetalCat (I think Repco sells them for 400ish). But I end up getting the cheapo Catco ceramic one.
  22. Pretty sure he's talking about noise level there. But like mentioned heaps before, unless you've got a custom exhaust system, its very hard to meet the 90dB requirement anyway if you remove restriction to your system.
