  8. Hi guys, My R33 auto makes strange noise from the exhaust when it changes gear on boost. My mates 33 did the same thing until he converted to manual. When i watch the boost gauge it spikes one or two lbs on the gear change. If i drive the car just after i have warmed it up it does't happen (sometimes). I know that i have to replace my coil packs but im only running 4-5lbs of boost now so i don't think is that. If anyone else has had this problem and if you no how to fix it can you let me know please. Aaron.
  9. My old r33 used to get a puff of smoke coming out of the steering collem now and then. I shit my self the first time it happend as i had no insurance back then.

  18. Did the cop specifically mention on the defect all these parts ( turbo, ecu, exhaust, z32afm, pod filter) or did he just write emitions? Also how long ago did you get done cos there is a good chance you will receive a letter in the mail to get ur car EPA tested if he didn't already tell u. My brother and my mate got done like this earlier this year.
  19. My understanding is that air is more dense on a cold day there for a better quality of air so ur A/F ratio's are more stable resulting in more power, On a hot day the density reduces causing a loss of power. Don't quote me thogh i could be wrong.
