Hi guys as the topic says im selling a 2000 model wrx motor, computer, box and a set of front and rear sti diffs and half shafts. Motor: Standard internals bigger evo 3 turbo with custom rear housing(not sure of exact sizes). Motor also comes with custom cooler and piping all tig wlded by hand, and a front/ dump pipe and cat. The previouse owner claimed 75,000 k's when my brother got the car. And he did another 10,000 roughly. When removed it was perfect. Computer: The computer is a microtech LTX-8 and hand controler. The computer is tuned for a wrx running 16 LBS daily or 18LBS for more fun. It will also come with a wiring loom for a wrx and 4 bosch coil packs. This computer can be re-tuned but only for a four cylinder. Box: Standard 2000 model 5 speed box. Starting to get a bit tight into 5th. Diffs: From what the previous owner told us they are sti diffs and half shafts. Price: $4500 for the lot. Or $4000 with out the computer. I will seperate parts if the price is right . The motor is not currently in a car. It was removed as my brother got picked up by the cops for no engineers report in his rs liberty. We only removed the parts to get rid of the defect. But the car has now sold hence the sale of the parts. With this combo and a fuel pump you should be able to run a very low 12 if not 11. My location is melbourne s/e suburbs. I bypassed this problem by lifting the origanal bonnet 25mm with longer bolts and spacers. It does the same thing as a vent and has that jap street car look. I actualy got the idea from a 32GTR i saw in rowville a few years back.

Hi guys every morning on my way to work my hicas light comes on. The funny thing is that it comes on at the place every day (about 15 mins from home). It doesn't come on in the afternoon on my way home though. I don't know whats going on with it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Aaron.

Hi mate i have found a brief description of the Watts linkage for you. The actual linkage used by the v8 supercars is similar. If the Watt link is broken the diff will move freely from side to side. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watts_linkage Hope this anwered your question, Aaron

Try ajusting the gate a bit tighter, so it pushes against the whole more. I had a ratling noise on my last 33 and the gate wasnt shut enough.
