  1. It might be an idea to add your location...
  2. Looks hot, Danny!
  3. I should have got the LOLvo out there to show you how it's all done! (i.e. how it shouldn't be done!!!)
  4. I had a set on the V35 Skyline wheels taht I bought, and because they were the wrong size for my requirements, I sold them to a mate and he put them in his 350Z. He tells me that they're great, so I assume that at the very least they're pretty decent. DO NOT let them put Nexen N2000s on your car, or anything else that is similarly cheap and nasty.
  5. And here I was thinking you were leaving 'cos the kids were tired or you had some other do to attend... Nice buy, mate! Oh, and a MASSIVE thanks to you and your wife for helping out on the BBQ on Saturday, it was much appreciated!
  6. Yep, sorry to say Darrin, but I agree with everyone else - either stick with the '34 GT-R rims or get something in a gunmetal or titanium finish, the gold looks a bit lacking against such a vibrant colour.
  7. *drools* That is HAWT!!! I love those wheels!
  8. Spotted on Saturday afternoon, Kacey (Coastal Chill) and Luke (fat-lad) in their silver s1 after their hike to Ikea and visit to the SAU-NSW Texikhana!
  9. OK, thanks to EVERYONE for coming to this event either to participate, volunteer or even just spectate! To the participants, I'm glad everyone had a good time, and as far as I saw, there were minimum casualties as far as dead or dying cars go. Luckily for everyone who was out there, tyres were the only things to suffer in a major way! This is PROOF that these kinds of days are reasonably easy on your cars. To the volunteers - "Xmetal" Ian for photos and cone picker-uppering, "~Jay~" Jason, "Oz GTR32V" Paul (and his wife) for help with the BBQ and entertaining us in the Ford "Terrible-tory", Doof's girfriend Anna (and Tegan) for helping with timing, Charles and Clinton, and anyone else who I may have missed - our many thanks for helping out with the running of this event. To the SAU-NSW Executive crew and support team - Neil, "Abo BOb" Adam, "Sl!m" Sam, "N1GTR" Steve-O, "DRD-00F" Steven, "Ando," Duncan and Kel, and "FloydWestwood" Dave, you all did amazing work to run this day! Oh, and thanks also to Duncan for taking me out for a run in the Zed in the morning on Course 1 and the Go-to-Woah, and Zane for an afternoon run through the slaloms!
  10. Oh, the GT-30's, GT-M's and Progressive ME's are also very nice - aggressive, but stylish at the same time. GT-30's: GT-M's: Progressive ME's (although they don't have dish):
  11. Personally, of your choices Darrin, I'd go with the GT-S's, because GT-C's are a lot more common and it's what everyone else wants on their car. That's the same reason I didn't have TE-37's on my shortlist for my car - everyone seems to go for them. Mind you, I LOVE GT-C's and TE-37's, but I want to be a bit different... If I could have justified the cost, I would have gone for CE-28N's or the (then) new RE-30's in either Bronze or Titanium grey. But when those V35 wheels came up, I couldn't resist the price, so I snapped them up - I saw them on Gorgasm's car, but knew that he was in NZ, so having two cars with the same wheels in the same place was highly unlikely.
  12. Spotted [[danny]], Jetwreck, EGA41T and his wife, and CL11QE tonight...
  13. You'd be surprised, and some people are quite possibly still drunk from the night before.
  14. Good job, Alex!
  15. Yeah, that's true, the mix was pretty close to even.
  16. Nope, Andy, we meet at the truck stop in Berowra (where the toll gates used to be way back when you had to pay to use the M3/F3) - take the F3, jump off at the Berowra exit and continue along the Pacific Highway, and the truck stop is on your left about 400m after the lights at the train station. Meeting time is 7.30pm, and we head up the coast from there at 8pm (but I'm not heading all the way up tonight).
  17. Hahaha! All good, Danny, I like to stir the pot!
  18. You can get ADR-approved ones too, by the way. Braided lines are far from an essential upgrade, but they would provide an extra level of reassurance, just like the master cylinder stopper would.
  19. Hmmm, if it is (even remotely) achievable, I'm worried about how it would look - the M35 front looks too round for the C34 rear, in my opinion.
  20. If you want a cruise, organise one! Just post up a meet-up point, time, and destination, and go from there. BUT... ...post in the EVENTS section.
  21. Snob!
  22. Sunset shots look great, Zennon! ... but you need to clean your wheels properly.
  23. Unless you have intentions to re-install it later, don't bother keeping it mate. I've had my front dump and cat sitting here forever, I should get off my lazy butt and just take it down to a scrap yard...
