  1. Welcome aboard - all of these issues have been dealt with here at some stage or another, so a search will answer all of your questions. Some of these topics have even been covered in the past two weeks!
  2. Damo, have a quick look here in the "Calling all Sydney Stagea owners" thread - I head up almost every week, Alex "CL11QE" is also a regular, and the crowd is growing. Come along if you can, we're a friendly bunch and it's a good night out!
  3. Bakes, if you polish the car before you leave, it'll be easier to dry off if it rains on the way down, as the water should bead up better and probably slide off on its own. Bring a chamois, some detailing cloths and some Meguiars Quik Detailer (or a similar product) to use when you get down here, and also to use over the weekend for touch-ups. Problem solved!
  4. But they are superior, Sammeh, you know that! They punch bigger holes in the horizon!!!
  5. That *could* be Michael, aka "gimpydammit." Stagea spottings go HERE!!!
  6. Ooooh, nice! Congratulations, dude! I'm guessing from the trade plate that you're in Queensland (and it's a very wild guess, based only on the first letter of the plate)?
  7. You lucky MoFo, Craig! I get to look at it every day, it's just a shame it's only in 1:18 scale...
  8. TJ, I seriously doubt they will fit. The offset is too high, in my opinion, so the wheel will be tucked WAY inside the guard, and like Mike says, the clearance to the suspension struts will be either ridiculously close, or they'll be literally pushing the struts out of the way in an attempt to sit on the face of the hub... At a guess, I'd say that's a FWD offset.
  9. Ian, "Punch em in da froat!" (i.e. with a bogan accent: Punch them in the throat...)
  10. Oh, BTW peoples, the current(?) AutoSalon magazine has the results from the last one we were in, with a snap of Beer Baron's R32 GT-R (and some of Xmetal's old Stagea showing too). It's issue 71, with a blue 2JZ-powered IS300 Lexus on the cover.
  11. Good choice with the JZX100 - if I could afford it (or could justify owning a second car), then a manual JZX100 Chaser would be my choice too!
  12. Spotted some funky pearl white s2 out the front of my house with all this pink stuff all over it - something about his obsession with Boobs! (Not that I blame him...)
  13. I think he means that he likes them.
  14. Spotted a silver s1 at around 5pm today at the roundabout where Toongabbie Road and Portia Road in Girraween. I wonder if it's the same one I've seen twice in the past week at Winston Hill. I beeped and waved, and got a wave in return.
  15. Moved, but left a link in the Stagea section. Good luck with the sale, Bernard - wish I could afford to buy it myself...
  16. Spotted the same white R33 today again at Winston Hills shops.
  17. Boost98 cost me 108.5c/litre today, so 48 litres was comfortably under $55.
  18. That looks awesome, Luke!
  19. Hahaha, love the PhotoChop of the s2 grill and lights, and the indicators/foggies! Good work!
  20. Eddie, you've gotta start coming along to the Coastie Cruises on Thursday nights, our numbers are growing!
  21. Even though I've had my car for just over 3yrs, I'm still on the mailing list for J-Spec and Prestige, and I received this from Prestige the other day:
  22. I spotted this same s1 again today, again in Winston Hills, but near the primary school, so maybe he was picking up the kids - was just before 3pm. Also spotted a white s2 parked downstairs in the Winston Hills shopping centre, I think it *might* be the same one I've seen parked at the Seven Hills shopping centre, had COP-003 rego plates. I left an SAU-NSW business card on the car.
  23. Anthony, MSCN are literally less than a minute from the end of the M2, so they'd be a good bet if you don't mind coming out this way...
