  1. Guys and girls, I'm going to combine these two threads together so all the information is in one place..
  2. Ahh okay. I was a bit all over the shop, but it's all good now. Managed to get the car home on Friday night, left it at a friends house for the night and got a lift back in the other Stagea that was there - lucky for me the owner lives only 2mins away from me!
  3. I spotted yet another C34 tonight, around 7pm. A red or wine red s1 at the lights on Windsor Road, where it crosses Seven Hills Road/Old Northern Road in Baulkham Hills, heading North away from Parramatta.
  4. Hey Andrew, welcome to the forums! If it only has RS, then it's likely just the 2WD version. One way to know for sure is to have a look at the chassis code - an "N" in the chassis code will tell you if it had AWD or not. All GT-Rs had an "N" (BNR32, BCNR33, BNR34, etc.), so the Stagea code should be WGC34 for the RWD instead of WGNC34. None of the RWDs came as manuals, either. AFAIK. Dayz parts are mainly just options as you've stated, but I think a Dayz edition had a package of Dayz parts optioned on to it. You might be lucky and find a few little features that are pretty rare, like the tailgate interior lamp, etc.
  5. I spotted a silver C34 s1 parked on Targo Road in Girraween/Toongabbie yesterday afternoon around 5pm. I've seen it there quite a few times now.
  6. Spotted an orange R32 with black bonnet around 4pm on Johnson Avenue in Seven Hills, I was going in the opposite direction in my Stagea and flashed my headlights at you. Looked nice!
  7. We've never had problems with cops at Fountain Plaza either, and they know we're there every week. They occasionally drive through, but if they ever stop they usually have a chat to us. If there are any trouble-makers (like one clown who decided he'd do a burnout in his Commodore ute a few years back), then it's usually ONE OF US who reports it to the cops. The owner of the plaza knows we're there and knows we don't cause issues, so it's a win-win situation.
  8. Other side of the coast??? Dude, you're soft! A bunch of us (including myself) regulary come up from Sydney for the meet at Fountain Plaza. I still turned up this week even AFTER copping a blown tyre on the F3 on the way up. Speaking of which, MAJOR thanks to all who offered to help with getting a spare wheel for me so I could get home - the space-saver was creating major issues with the ATTESA system, and the car was getting the shakes even at 40-60km/h.
  9. Yay! Where did you disappear to, anyway? I was cruising below the speed limit due to having blown a tyre last night, and rolling home on borrowed rear wheels...
  10. Spotted a silver Axis on the F3 Sydney-bound this afternoon. Pretty sure it was WAGON_BOY, am I right???
  11. Are your wheels black, Jason? The 34 I've seen does have mesh-style wheels, but I can't remember what style, just the colour. Also, it's always been moving along, if it had been stopped somewhere I'd be better able to confirm what wheels they were.
  12. You totally should! I don't want to be the only LOLvo out there competing (again)... And there might be a few other MX5s there too. We don't have Stagea meets often enough, unfortunately, but them's the breaks.
  13. Adam, you should bring the car to one of our days - the SAU-NSW Texikhana!
  14. So, this Friday is a public holiday, so who of you Sydney folk are coming along tomorrow night??? Oh, and the next Texikhana is coming up soon! Click here for the link. (BTW, the last one had to be cancelled due to circumstances out of our control. )
  15. I went to buy a printer yesterday, and the guy I bought it off asked me what car I was driving. Had I not been too tired to be thinking straight, I would have strung him along a bit instead of just saying "it's a Nissan." LOL, I was just re-reading this Dale, and if this woman "knew it defintely wasn't a Ford," why the heck did she include it in her initial question anyway??? At least they were nice about it, though, hey?
  16. Do a search, Cassbo did a small tutorial on where and how to mount a fire extinguisher in your car. Personally, I've mounted mine using one of the brackets for the cushion of the back seat, and seeing as it doesn't interfere with footspace, I've just left it there. (Granted, I'm driving a Stagea, so it might be different to your own applications.)
  17. Oh, I've spotted a dark blue R34 GT or GTt a few times over the past few days rolling through and around Toongabbie.
  18. Spotted a silver M35 parked and up on a jack or stands in a workshop off Romford Rd in Blacktown/Kings Park - maybe getting an LPG conversion or something?
  19. Bah, I'm in Penrith fairly often now 'cos my sister lives with her boyfriend there, yet I never see anyone or get spotted.
  20. So it's more like 1.5 mechanics then, right Anna??? Or maybe 1.2...
  21. ...or you could also check the Events section here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/forum/33-events/ As for you Coastie/Newie peoples asking for someone to put a cruise on, there's nothing stopping any of YOU from organising one. The main thing to remember, however, is that you DO NOT act like idiots on the road or in any public areas.
  22. That's probably Teren, aka "Tangents"
  23. Just spotted a dark silver s1 RS4 turning into Bungaree Rd from Wentworth Avenue in Pendle Hill, rego BCG37V or BCG37D, can't remember. Typically, I was not in my car.
  24. Here's one I took a few weeks back while my friends were here from Ireland. Decided to make a colour-splash of it for the sake of it...
