  1. Let me know how it goes. I got a quote from them for $1500 to respray my front and rear bumpers.... I felt it was a bit of a rip-off but if they do a good job it might be worth it.
  2. I don't think he has enough 'love' to cover an entire car like you do beau. Just give it a good clean and a bit of a wax.
  3. Do we have a time the organisers want us to arrive? It might give them the shits if we rock up at 9am and they're just about to finish setting up the other cars.
  4. Not the answer I was looking for.... ? It needs suspension work, and something is clunking in the back in reverse. One good thing, the engine still runs awesome. Go nissan, only the holden parts are shitting themselves.
  5. Urg, this VL is worse than I thought, it feels like I'm cheating death every time it makes a corner...
  6. Belconnen has one and Gungahlin has one
  7. Well I know you can't remove the hatch trim when it's closed, unless you feel like wrecking it. then you should be able to remove the taillight and get at the lock from the outside.
  8. surely using the key pulls the tongue back and you can open the boot?
  9. Vernon Circle
  10. I'm not a pube but i'm constructing a building for them, and most of our work comes from them.
  11. Wow, a V8 magna, awesome... hehe, just having a dig.
  12. My bad, your original post confused me.
  13. I thought that was just the RS FOUR 'S' model?
  14. I have over 180,000km on my stagea, and it's still going strong. The only major problem I've had is alternator failing, and recently the fuel consumption going up, but that is on account of a late service. Ive done all the usual mods like exhaust, pod, FMIC and boost controller and not had any problems I think the old RB25 is a good engine so long as you look after it.
  15. Yeah I need a monster tacho in my auto VL, that's what the cool kids do. I was thinking of painting the tyre walls white, is that cool?
  16. They don't come with tow bars, you need to get custom ones made. I guess it depends on what the tow bar engineer says. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=49484 there has been numerous threads on this already. Search is your friend.
  17. It's ATO, I don't know the different departments of the ATO as I don't work for them. I'm only curious because I work for Bovis Lend Lease, who is the construction manager for the project. Building buildings is fun.....
  18. Hmm, I've got a set of stock stagea wheels, only 16" though. Also the rubber is pretty shit, not even legal I don't think.
  19. 2615 ACT. Auspost have postage prices if you check out their website
  20. Canberra Automotive refinishes. They're on lathlain st in belco next to the Carwash. also there's another one up the top on Nettleford st just down from Sportsmand warehouse. I forgert their name, Belconnen Auto refinishes or something.
  21. Are you moving into the new offices in the City later this year?
  22. I'm going, it's my birthday treat! I've never been before, but if it's anything like the Bathurst Show then there's sure to be heaps of fighting and drinking, oh and some rides and other stuff I guess.
  23. It's my birthday on Sunday, and my missus has the saturday night planned for us already, sorry mate. A few of us are meeting down at this new cafe place called Streetscene on sunday around 4pm if you're still in town. It's apparently a car club friendly place and the owner is really into imports. Supposed to be pretty good. Theres a thread on it in the ACT section.
  24. If it was a VL turbo I would have said that. It's a standard executive that still has the original hub caps it came with. My Grandparents had it since new in Canberra, then gave it to my Dad in Bathurst for nothing about 7 years ago. It's been a pizza delivery car for a few years, so it runs like crap and stinks. I was thinking about suspension upgrade/repair and then a full-sik bodykit made out of cardboard for a g-up. It's not even worth the cost of the rego to keep it on the road, so I might paddock bash it to death or something when I'm finished with it. What is a well deserving end to a reliable old VL?
