I have been getting squeaks when i change gears or especially when i go into 1st gear from neutral i hear it once, but then it doesn't occur that often. It only happens so rarely i can't show it to any mechanic or anybody if i wanted to at the right time. What could this mean? My gearbox is going?

are you sure this is a drivetrain issue? aren't you just talking about flatspots from low rpm going to mid-high? If it is, then its ur plugs or coilpacks.

what? thats impossible, then why go for an extra dump pipe if you ain't going to tune your car? What you guys are saying goes against the theory a turbo back gives more power than a cat back (with no tune). Does this power loss theory with an extra dump pipe also apply to GTT R34's??????????????????

so your saying my left rear side might have rubber seals missing? The squeaks are alittle annoying but not so much as it isn't all that loud and nothing rattles (atleast i dun think the minor rattles come from the same issue). So if it is the rubber seals, is it an easy fix? how much does it cost?

Hi, ive got gtt r34 with coil overs on them which are quite old im assuming as it was in it when i purchased the car a year ago. Im getting these squeaks from the rear side (especially rear left or maybe its only the rear left side) when i come across bumpy roads, all i want is some suggestions on what it could be. I thought maybe its the coil over suspension giving out the squeaks but then again there could be many i thought such as rear diff, not enough diff oil. etc etc Or is the only possible answer for squeaks at rear the coil over suspension? thanks

LOL! i admit it as well to some extent im a hoon!! 90% of people owning a skyline which is modded with 3" exhaust have already been a hoon on the streets to some extent so why don't you just all admit that you were or still is one.
