Cheers for the kind words. Its finally coming together. Spent most of yesterday fiddling around in the engine bay. Only a hand full of things left to do. All up i think i spent 3 days cleaning the bay while the engine was out lol! Ill post some more updates and pics up soon. Look forward to seeing updates on your car CeJay

I agree, if you don’t know the treatment the turbos have had it’s a bit of a risk. Have you checked the front wheels for any play? That’s a good indication of what condition they are in. I had a Rb20 in my old r31. I was running 14psi through the stock turbo, six months later the turbo is still in good condition.

Well there are only a few things left to do before i put the engine in. How do people do their heater hoses. Do you mix and match the rb20 and 25? I noticed that they are different in size. How have you done yours?? In the RB20 heater hoses is this sensor, do i use this on the rb25? And when the engine is in, what do i connect these hoses to? Cheers, Josh

Could be bottom end bearings. If thats the case i would defiantly not boost it up until its stored. Also, are you running the stock turbo? If so, it wont take 20psi.
