  1. Revlimiters - For people who know how to drive performance cars properly
  2. the rev limiter is there in a safe place to stop you making melted steel out of ur motor. i have seen/driven many a car bouncing continuously off the rev limiter. Look at a typical drift meeting at barbs. For a good 150m we are smashing limiter up the hill in 3rd and yet to break anything. stop being so weak, get out there smash some limiter and scare some old people
  3. will have the 32 back then so will come down for a flog
  4. lol n00b ofcourse there wouldnt be any manuals or software, it is a JUN tuned factory ecu. Just the same as a lumpyrom. Do you seem him giving his software out
  5. lol. im not the noob at work
  6. guys this is for a street car. who gives a toss about extra wank features that you are never going to use unless you are trying to extend the size of ur wang. For a street car PFC ftw. For the people that whinge "every tom, dick and harry can tune them", did u ever think that may be an advantage? Say the work shop you love and would hump the owner suddenly closes down, who will tune your car then? Your mum? dont think so. Grab a second hand rb20 pfc off yahoo japan and go gets a tune!
  7. considering it has a built motor, big gearbox and all the supporting stuff, plus it is in midnight purple 3 *hawt* i would say its worth it
  8. Pffft, i dont need no silly tiara to turn that special guy on at work! He would punch me no matter what i got on
  9. i agree. the stock plenum is good for close to 500hp so unless your shooting for big numbers or have a space issue then i would put the dollars into something worth wild
  10. It really comes down to how much you want to spend. On the cheap end of things is the PFC D-Jetro with a nitrous controller. Mid range might be Autronic which im pretty sure can handle nitrous and has features like antilag, rot idle etc. Where if you want to step up you grab a motec. What id be looking at is the new HKS F-CON V Pro ecu Xspeed now offer. I had a long chat with ant about this ecu at motorvation and he says its pretty much inline with motec and autronic in regards to tuneability and features, but without the heafty pricetage. It also controls nitrous too. Best thing to do would be to give them a call and work something out with them.
  11. if i had my choice now it would def be a f-con v pro. a trick piece of hardware they are
  12. man these rumors really get out of hand. Apexi still exhists as NORMAL! PFC is still around just certain models are discontinued.
  13. the turbo is too big for the motor but yet it is restricting power!! Weirdest statment ever! The GT35 would be sweet on an rb30. Stuff some cams into it and a good zorst and u should be fine.
  14. i got the leads, name a time and place
  15. what do all the fastest street at the plex use for ecu's these days? D-Jetro's i hear? all the cars that used to run fast times with another crappy ecu seem to have all jumped ship to it. wonder why?
  16. OMFG! 53 second lap. God dam thats insane
  17. lumpyrom ftw! handles my street car and my track thrasher smashing limiter all the time with 300rwhp and hasnt broke yet. If i wanted to step up it would be autronic, or for a powerful street car pfc. All the tuneability in the world with proven results and actually has people who can tune it and not blow ur car up with a dodgey 2nd rate ecu.
  18. this is without a doubt the most retarded game i have ever played!! who invented it the devil??
  19. ok guys to clarify! It was a stolen silver r33 gtr (not sure who the owner was), and it was used in a well planned break-in at a bunnings store. They were able to pull almost 20K worth of drills, saws and socket sets. When they were being persude by police they threw drills and socket sets out the window at the cops (lol ). However they lost control and well we know how the story ends
  20. So are you telling me that just because air filters, intercoolers, exhausts, plenums dont have moving parts mean that they cant be improved and that one design is the right one? Mate have you ever heard of the apexi gt-spec intercooler? when it was released a few years back it was a hit becuase it had a unique core design that gave better cooling/flow properties. Look im not gettin into a piss fight here over your supercheap intercooler. If thats what you want go for it. Its upto each person, do they want to buy china, or name brand?
  21. yeah they are good upto a point. however when you start making bulk power, do you really want to risk high intake temps/ristriction just for the sake of being a tight wad with a hand full of dosh. Yes china coolers are good for a budget/mild upgrade, but as most of us most likely want to go further than that, invest wisely in a nice cooler. PS. That PWR cooler looks mint! Awesome quality
  22. yeah mate china ones are fine if you are making stuff all power, but for people who want good quality, awesome welds and a product that is actually tested and developed then they buy a name brand one. Ones like pwr, plasmaman, hks, trust etc all have better core designs which flow better and keep intake temps lower. Plus if he decieds to smash a big single on their, he know that he will not lose power through dodgey design. but if you want to keep ur china go right ahead.
