    Ah damn . Interesting about the pads with that kit. They don't seem to like too much heat. I have left the rears as is considering the size of the rear rotor (350 mm). I can always change them later on if it feels unbalanced.

    Paul, I didn't think the 2500's were an issue on the street. Worked straight out of the driveway. I was a little concerned about the RS19's being a bit annoying when cold but you say the opposite si that's great! The guy I spoke to said the RS29's offer a bit more initial bite but all in all they're the same pad. I will report back. Not coming to DECA?

    Pads are ordered. PAGID RS19's, fronts only. These things better put my head through the window!!! Not farken cheap!

    Does that mean an RB28 will get to approx 7300 RPM by the time the 26 gets to 8000 RPM?

    25 kw at both those points.As a comparison, the medium setting is 325 and 375. So I gain 50 kw through the midrange with a turn of a nob.

    So if you have a rolling run from say 4500 RPM in 4th, both engines make the same peak power but the RB30 has more torque through the mid range will still accelerate the car slower than the "rev happy" RB 26?

    That's fine, but for the average joe blow on a "normal budget", why would you want to rev the thing past 8000 RPM.

    Just rolled off the dyno. On the highest setting it made 375 at 4500 and 425 at 5000 rpm. Still made 470 plus up top. Hooray for more midrange.
