  1. Haha!!! Thy turn up on Monday. Do I stick them in before EC or totally destroy the 2500's?
  2. Matty, I know. Still, that's 100 schooners haha!
  3. Well, true. But $400 plus for a set of front pads. Taking the piss a bit!!!!
  4. Pads are ordered. PAGID RS19's, fronts only. These things better put my head through the window!!! Not farken cheap!
  5. Whipper snipper? 26 cc of fury! That will push a heavy GTR around the track like a bulldog!
  6. What changes in a GTR driveline after a 3.0 conversion to make it heavier than the original?Try again.
  7. I need brake pads. Thinking of PAGID RS 29's. anyone used them?
  8. How much are you aiming to run?
  9. Does that mean an RB28 will get to approx 7300 RPM by the time the 26 gets to 8000 RPM?
  10. Where else can I host them? I have a few power runs too
  11. 25 kw at both those points. As a comparison, the medium setting is 325 and 375. So I gain 50 kw through the midrange with a turn of a nob.
  12. So if you have a rolling run from say 4500 RPM in 4th, both engines make the same peak power but the RB30 has more torque through the mid range will still accelerate the car slower than the "rev happy" RB 26?
  13. I'll be turning it down I think haha.
  14. That's fine, but for the average joe blow on a "normal budget", why would you want to rev the thing past 8000 RPM.
  15. Just rolled off the dyno. On the highest setting it made 375 at 4500 and 425 at 5000 rpm. Still made 470 plus up top. Hooray for more midrange.
  16. http://i1068.photobucket.com/albums/u457/Ptriffitt/78F96AE0-C683-43DB-A7C3-A9302D8C9ED6-25875-000005309EA4F74C_zpsa05bd37e.mp4 Just chilling on the dyno.
  17. Couldn't be too high, 30's don't rev... Or something
  18. Lol. That was ages ago!!! That's when I realised I needed to stop better than I was
  19. It's just a quick adjust to a few cells. All goodI'll have a few vids of this coming Tuesday.
  20. Did you baby it around or did you load it up to get the gases behind the rings early on?
  21. What's the issue with standard that you need to change? What do you hope to gain?
  22. The most we have run is 28 psi IIRC. A graph is here a few pages earlier. I normally just leave it at 25 psi.
  23. Prob should update this. The last few weeks its copped two new 044's. My primary feed pump wasn't playing ball do they both went. As a result, my idle is grumpy and my cold start is junk due to the increased fuel pressure at idle. It goes in tomorrow to get this fixed up and chucked on the dyno for a quick health check before these track days coming up. It also copped two new front drive shafts as I did a boot on each side. The passenger one was clicking. Grease everywhere!!!! Ordered some new brake pads. These 2500's just won't cut it. Damn heavy whale! New front diff oil yesterday. Coolant bleed. New engine oil tonight ready for dyno thrashes! Having front sway bars link washers turned up. ATM, the front isn't connected. It's a tad taily but it makes it interesting!
