No worries I drilled 4 holes in the floor of the boot to mount it with bolts, nuts and rubber bushes i guess u would call them.

Hey joel, i have the xmember bolted to the car, no spacing. I didnt touch the tunnel/floor pan at all, the box fitted in great. I do have a hoist and gearbox lifter tho

Almost finished the conversion today, only have to put the speedo sender in and extend a wire for one of the sensors that plug into the box. For the plates i chose not to space the gearbox down as it wasnt close to fouling and i didnt want to put the box on any bad angles. I cut away some of the crossmember and fitted the plates underneath. I also welded them in, i then trimmed the bits i cut out and refitted them in also by welding. I then ground them back for a nice look and painted it all black. Pics tomorrrow The tailshaft left this monring for universal driveshafts in geebung (qld) the guys did a perfect job swapping over the yokes, and obviously balanced it before it was retured at 445 today very happy with the service and price which was $175

I put my 33 box in on sat with no dramas, will be making up exactly what you have joel. Just waiting on the driveshaft people to swap the 33 yoke onto the 32 tailshaft, and then to work out the speedo sender.

The reason is im trying to decide what color to paint my rb26 covers and it would be a good resource for others in the future to be able to check a thread like this for ideas cheers fellas Atm my short list is 34 blue (colur of my car/engine bay) 34 red 34 millennium jade color Silver (dark or light) polished (cant really be bothered tho as the plenum is taking me long enough) in the back of my mind a really vibrant color that doesnt match anything else on my car i think would look really good too. Maybe a nice green (flame suit on)

I think u need to get over it mafia, just because u dont like the sound doesnt mean it is bad. Or is it just because u failed to get one to run properly on your car when others have no issues? Your certainly not some mad engineer just because ur running a stock bov or understand its better to run a recirculating bov on a car with a MAF There is plenty of tough cars with atmo bov's its just the the shit cars with crappy sounding bov's far outnumber them Besides your choice of rims is more of a crime than any atmo bov

Atm it is midnight purple. A good wash and it would look alot better, but yeah it will need to be resprayed. cheers
