  8. no idea - id like to know as well. id guess probably a viscous one. but not sure what model it is. ive heard L200 or something like that. actually i think thats for 180sx's. not sure.
  9. just buy a packet of extra and chew on it for a bit then slap it on where the leak is. works everytime i just ran out and checked mine, i got a few blisters too (time for some preventative maintenance) on the hose. try looking at that first, or your union into the resovoir.
  10. im with GTScotT, stock bov all the way.
  11. just out of curiosity...i thought fmic's were only really pulled up because they "question structural integrity" of the front chassis. i didnt know they were illegal for emissions....
  12. all paid and ready to roll! bit off topic....is canberra cold september time? should i bring a jacket?
  13. how the hell do you ceramic coat the manifold?? is it same sort of theory as sand blasting? but with sticky ceramic? *hopes this isnt a n00b question*
  14. you havent put any additives in your fuel?
  15. by "bracing" the pipes - are they little bits of sorta U shaped metal welded on right at the ends of the flange? just wondering, i just picked up a new manifold with these things on it - i guess by no means is that a garuntee of quality - worth a try though.
  16. thats a fantastic idea. i like it! im guessing if its common it doesnt effect ratio's at all?
  17. i doubt it, flow would still be constant, maybe a little less pressure, and your engine would just be getting fuel sprayed on the externals.
  18. old oil is usually thicker then it was when it was new, it doesnt really go thinner.
  19. i guess its not such a great idea taking the passenger seat out and any removable weight and stuff like that. too much wasted time over little advantage???
  20. thanks guys. just gonna smash it out with the drift.
  21. when i bought my car i had a cd stacker in the boot that went to the crappy stock radio. ive since replaced that old school clapped out piece of crap radio and cassete player for a nice new headunit. luckily, the cd stacker wont work with my head unit, so i tried to remove it to free up some boost space. bad move. one of the screws holding the stacker down seems to have chewed out thread and wont come out, so i need to get into the space between the boot floor and above the rh rear wheel. has anyone done this before? is their an easy way to do this without disassembling my entire car? this is frustration me so much im at a point where i'll happily use a 9" grinder or the jaws of life to get it out!
  22. just for an experiment, how far have people gone after the gauge has gone below the 'E' ???? im never game enough to try, but im geussing around 50k's?
  23. im pretty sure theres a tutorial on how to remove it in the tutorial section.
  24. on step 8 its good to lower the steering wheel as far down as it goes. (for the slow people like me, i struggled for like 20 mins before i figured that out lol)
  25. a little off topic, but could it be worth while doing a clutch bleed and throwing in some new fluid? im changing my clutch next week, as im having slip problems as well. i thought maybe a good way to preserve my new hd clutch would be to change fluid every 'x' amount of k's.
