  2. omg im a cool kid! luckeeeeeeee!
  3. about three weeks ago a friend of mine bought an ebay turbo. He isnt planning on using it for a while (he's still building his engine) so i offered to swap his turbo for mine. So i started tearing all my stuff apart to fit his new turbo. The bolt holes didnt even line up. Once again, im not saying dont get one, and there is potential for good turbo's out there on ebay, just be ultra cautious and make sure you check everything out before installing.
  4. heaps of threads already, but disconnect the battery, and then turn on your lights, wipers, indicators, radio, anything that sucks power, then leave it for half hour then reconnect your battery. ECU should reset itself. Some poeple believe theres buttons or fuses and stuff that you need to play with, and im not sure on that, but most people believe disconnecting the battery does the trick.
  5. im in - ill bring some music this time!
  6. true story: i was driving home on windsor rd, doing the speed limit, quiet music, minding my own business. I came up to a school zone and correctly slowed to 40kph, when a soccer mum in a bmw x5 roared up behind me flashing high beams and then beeped me. I put my window down and literally satup off the seat to get my entire arm out of the car to point at the "SCHOOL ZONE - 40KPH" sign as I drove past. The soccer mum found a bit of space in the other lane and roared past me. she had two kids in the back, and would have easily hit 120kph in an 80 zone. 15 minutes later i got pulled over and defected for my pod. I told the officer "yes im guilty i know its illegal and will accept full responsibility" to which he then was really cool to me and basically just said put your old filter back on and turn up to get it inspected. it totally infuriated me how much skyline drivers are stereotyped when there are some really dangerous stupid people out there who don't get caught.
  7. i just did this on the weekend and its fantastic! unfortunatly i had apline r type 6x9's and they didnt fit but luckily i had some apline r type splits to throw in. i threw the tweeters in just above where the seatbelt goes into the sidewall. sounds fantastic and i would recommend it if you have a spare weekend and just want to shill out at home. besides the 6x9's it cost me $30 all up. i eliminated heaps of rattles and new carpet on the mdf looks good too. i didnt really plan anything and i took me a saturday and sunday, at a slow pace sinking a few beers here and there and just chilling out while i did it. just make sure you measure your 6x9's before they go in, thats your only worry. i didnt break anything either so its esay to take it out and throw the old crappy shelf back in. i dont know why i would though...
  8. fark!!!! wow these are some gnarly stories! the hammer on the nuts. omg.
  9. So last week i woke up like someone had just stabbed me in the guts - so i rushed to hospital and had my appendix out. This by far the worst pain i have ever experienced, more then when i crashed my car, or when i stupidy dropped an angle grinder on my arm. i bet no one can top pain like that! lets hear your worst war story!!!
  10. i ran out of tissues when i saw that zed. dream: veyron/f430 reality: gtr
  11. put the drivers seat right back, get down on your back with a torch and shove your head next to the throttle pedal and look upwards. you might see something thats loose, if no luck, start tearing stuff apart and do what gumflapper said.
  12. yes - they will screw you if they find that.
  13. i got greddy ones with s type coilovers. awesome too!
  14. i like your style bakes.
  15. LOL! dude pretty sure thats illegal. 10 points for the idea though. you actually have to have an emissions test done, at a RTA testing centre. theres heaps of threads around man, just search. taking a photo of someone elses placards and sticking it to yours will not do, and could even land you in deeper shit when you take it to the pits to get inspected. they are gonna look at the placards and if they discover you've put false/misleading information on your car they could come down pretty hard on you.
  16. anything bro. im doing my parcel shelp cf.
